I order meal boxes and I am still getting the meat I need for my recipes. Hopefully that continues but if not, they have some decent meals without meat as well.

I had leftover taco pizza and it was glorious. Oh and lots of booze.

That is where I stand. I am not changing my behavior pattern anytime soon even if they did literally open up everything right now. Best to be cautious as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah I got gas in early March and that is going to be the longest lasting tank of gas I've ever purchased. I'm still at 3/4 of a tank, lol.

There is an outbreak at a nursing home 5 minutes away from where I live. No numbers have been released, they are keeping a tight lid on that info I guess.

My work-from-home time-frame has been extended through July 15th. It was surreal how quickly life changed last month but it almost seems normal now. Well, maybe not normal. More like, a new normal.

Weirdest birthday ever. First birthday without dad (passed away last fall). First birthday spent alone with no family around. And no sports. It takes a toll on the mind and the emotions. Maybe the old normal will no longer be normal but at this point I'd be willing to settle for semi-normal. I don't know. Cheers to you all. Just rambling while watching some old Bears games on YouTube.

Made an essential trip to the liquor store today. 🍻 Seems like a large number of people are still out and about here, at least on my side of town. I've seen pictures posted on the Fort Wayne reddit showing downtown looking like a ghost town though. Experience varies by area, I suppose.

Yeah I haven't stepped foot in a large store this week. I mainly go to Dollar General or Walgreen's and while they have started getting hit on certain items, they still usually have what I am looking for without huge lines.

One of my friends probably has it but cannot get tested to confirm it.

I was supposed to have a layover at O'Hare on Wednesday, in addition to another layover at LAX where they have had airport employees test positive. And on the way back, a layover at DFW where I saw scenes similar to the O'Hare situation online. All that to say, yeah I cancelled my trip just now. lol

Armour smoked. I usually prefer the normal BBQ or hot & spicy but the options were limited. Never heard of bourbon BBQ though! Dang!

I have my emergency supply of Kraft mac & cheese and Vienna Sausages here in the Fort. i'm good. 💪😎

True story - the only time I got a high five from a NBA player was back in 2001. The player was Dikembo Mutombo. I got sick as hell for like a week after that. So, maybe not a bad policy regardless of a pandemic. 😜
