A little more interesting of a game than I hoped. At one point in the 8th, NKU had the tying run at the plate (bases loaded, 1 out) but got out of that jam then tacked on 2 in the 9th.

I've taken to watching the Assembly Call postgame streams lately, and Coach Tonsoni after the most recent win talked about how we are playing more freely the last couple of games. Part of that is playing more fluidly and naturally on offense rather than forcing the post on every single possession. I'd say that if that trend continues tonight, we have a fair chance to get a third consecutive win.

But hey we have wins against #18 and #20 so that is still something.

Saying we have a young team is one thing and I don't necessarily disagree with that statement but it doesn't excuse being a barely Top 100 team this season. I expect more improvement over the course of the season. Which, maybe we are finally seeing that now but barring a miracle BTT run it is far too late.

I'd say one more win should clinch avoiding a Wednesday game.

Same here. I think they are about the same level as us. I'd give them the edge being at home, but not at that kind of margin.

He is going to submit to medical exams for the teams he visits with. Apparently he does not want to turn his head and cough 32 times while in Indy. After looking into it more, I don't see the big deal. It seems a little over the top that these guys normally get exams from every single team? Why not just one exam by a NFL approved medical staff?
