Last night sucked. Looking at the rest of January, I see us going 3-4 (beating OSU, Minny and Iowa). 5-5, 13-8 heading into February would be pretty scary for March Madness hopes. We gotta do better than 3-4 imo but not sure I can see it.

Best part is I bet the Bama moneyline and cashed out at a nice profit at 20-13. I had a feeling it would not hold up.

Going to be really interesting to see how they perform moving forward since they won't be protected by the Big Ten West division setup anymore.

Yeah man, alcohol does all those things for sure. I was a daily binge drinker for about 20 years. Today is my 70th day sober, and I feel like a new person. On the weight loss trail, I begin the new year 28 pounds down from my maximum known weight from around August when I hurt my knee. Getting back under 300 pounds is my primary goal right now, then from there I'll see how far I can go with a maintainable approach. Bought a Fitbit so I'm tracking my calorie deficit on a daily basis. Running 1000-1500 calorie deficit per day and trying to get 10k steps a day. No more booze, no sugary soda, a lot of water. Food-wise, just using common sense and portion control. Not trying to be perfect, I'll treat myself when I feel like it but just manage the portions and make sure I track all of it. The tracking is huge for me, I need to do it to stay on track and feel a sense of control.

The real money is on the first touchdown bets. I am the first TD bet whisperer. Had Ceedee last night.

I can't believe they had 20 guys sit out the game. I get being upset about the playoff snub, but they get to play Georgia which is as good as any playoff team. Don't get me wrong, Georgia is winning that game by double digits anyways but rolling over and playing dead to the tune of a record-setting 60 point margin is a big-time oof!

Obviously the team is heart-broken that I did not make the drive down tonight. My bad, guys.

Does one need to purchase a parking pass ahead of time for these games or can you just pay at the gate? Debating getting a ticket tomorrow. Haven't been to a game at Assembly Hall in over 20 years.

It wasn't his best game, for sure. The entire offense was garbage though. Mooney after the game said the offense got complacent in the 2nd half because they were just happy to have a lead, no sense of urgency at all. The blocking was awful (Myles Garrett and company of course have something to do with that), the general execution of many plays was poor, the play-calling itself was head-scratching.

It was his 6th unnecessary roughness flag of the season, the suspension is for being a repeat offender not just this one hit.

Love how we came out and competed and gave Kansas all they could handle. Hate that we couldn't finish the win. Looking forward to this team continuing to grow and develop over the course of the season.

Purdue still sucks.
