Running back fumbles, Georgia Tech recovers with 25 seconds left. Georgia Tech then goes 74 yards in 4 plays to score the game-winning touchdown with 1 second left. What. The. Heck.

For the heck of it, I looked at ESPN's matchup predictor for our remaining games that are considered the most winnable. All four of those teams are currently favored over us: Rutgers: 57.1% Illinois: 67.0% Michigan State: 52.4% Purdue: 58.6%

The main positive out of this game is Jackson is our guy at QB. A lot of high throws early but once he got settled in, he was dropping dimes. 97 yard touchdown drive was a thing of beauty. The 4th & goal play that got stuffed, what the hell was that? Worst possible play to call there, a slow-developing run up the middle where you hand the back the ball at the 5 yard line. Defense settled down nicely in the 2nd half. But the positives are overshadowed by dropping a game we desperately needed for bowl eligibility.

ESPN Matchup Predictor sits at 74.4% in favor of Louisville. I don't know how accurate that tool is, especially early in the season. This is a huge win if we can get it. A game that can define our season one way or another.
