  1. That was definitely the tipping point. I thinl they should have kicked it, but in Campbell's defense the play worked. The WR dropped what should have been an easy catch.
  2. That 4th and 2 drop is really the difference in this game.
  3. I usually like being aggressive in football, but Detroit should have kicked the field goal to go up 27-10 on their last drive.
  4. That's where I'm at too. I want the Lions for all of the reasons everyone else does. Also as an Eagles fan, I don't want the 49ers to win. But, I also don't want the Chiefs to win the SB, but think the 49ers are the better team and have the best chance to beat the Cheifs.
  5. I didn't have a dog in the fight. I can't stand Mahomes/Kelce and my wife is a Steelers fan so we hate the Ravens. With that said, the Ravens made a ton of bad mistakes, but it's a little frustrating to see so many taunting and personal foul calls against the Ravens, while Kelce spends the entire game taunting people, shoving people after the play, and instigating and never gets called for anything.
  6. Really confused on why Lamar Jackson isn't running more?
  7. Yup, hopefully that would put us close. Might need a little, "they travel well" luck to make up for some metric short-comings. But, it starts with one win on Tuesday.
  8. Yup, the opportunity is still there. But as you said, the margin of error is razor thin. Probably need to win 2 of those 3, if not all 3, against NW, MSU and Wisconsin. But the chances are still there.
  9. Time to get on a roll and get this season back on track!! It starts Tuesday.
  10. Agree. I've said numerous times over the years that the phone calls aren't why the program was ruined, it was the grades and drug culture. My post wasn't meant as a support of what Sampson did at IU. It was "what could have been" if he had been able to keep his nose clean and run the program like he has at Houston.
  11. This Lakers-Warriors game had been awesome down the stretch and in both OT's.
  12. I think most of the board can agree on that 🤣
  13. Ever since Draymond came back, TJD's minutes have been cut.
  14. Really impressed with Leal today too. I think he earned regular rotation minutes.
  15. I thought the team competed very hard today as well. A lot of fight and competitiveness. Gotta he happy with that! I've never really thought effort has been much of an issue with this team.
  16. That's a very good sign. Hoping we see more of that lineup. Feels like those 4 with one of Ware/Reneau has been really strong.
  17. Agree completely. In the playoffs you have to be able to play in the halfcourt on both ends. Hard to win a Game 7 on the road if you're not great at halfcourt defense.
  18. Forcing up shots against triple-teams?
  19. I'm pretty done with this offensive system too. The offense very Archie-esque. If I was Dolson, I'd need a crystal clear plan of system changes Woodson plans to make in order for him to get another season.
  20. Forget not making any, its absurd that we only took 8, basically playing small ball.
  21. This! The offense isn't designed to get any good, rhythm 3's. Reneau is a gamer and incredibly skilled around the basket, but our entire offense can't be to pass it to him and everyone stand around until he forces it or reluctantly passes.
  22. Tough loss, lots of missed opportunities. But the game changed when it was tied with a minute left and Shannon completely plowed over XJ and somehow the refs inexplicably called the foul on XJ. An atrocious call. Instead of the ball with a chance to take the lead, we were down 2 with under 1:00. Didn't help that XJ missed 1,567 free throws in the last minute either.
  23. Not trying to start the entire Sampson/NCAA/self-reporting debate again, but... Watching Houston on ESPN thinking about what could have been.
