  1. Again, I'm not saying you trade him. I'm saying you just feel out what the market is. Probably not an improved return, but you never know. I'm not a John Wall guy, and that was before the injuries. I guess if he's just out there and available on the market you kick the tires. But, I'd be careful with it. Don't love it from a chemistry standpoint. I think the Celtics really just need to add depth. You can't have essentially a 7 man rotation, with no scorers off the bench. We basically had zero wings on the bench. Theis was unplayable and if Pritchard isn't hitting 3's he's unplayable. After the 8th guy on the roster, the Celtics are a G-League team. That can't happen again.
  2. I really think this fanbase is minimizing JHS and Reneau for two main reasons 1) they're not from Indiana so don't know them as well and 2) the scars of Bates and Lander. I think JHS will be really good and start from day 1. But specifically for Reneau, look at the track record of 5* bigs with Jared Jeffries, DJ White, Cody Zeller, Noah Vonleh, Thomas Bryant and TJD. Every 5* big we've had in 20+ years has delivered from day 1. Other than minutes opportunity given the situation, why would we not expect Reneau to have an immediate impact? Clearly, his overall impact will be lower because of who is back, but in the minutes he does get, and I think they'll be more than most think, I expect him to look like a 5* big.
  3. I'm not saying I want to trade him, but I think you just quietly see what's there. You'd need to get a true star in return. You don't even consider it unless it's for a bona-fide star. There most likely isn't anything there, I'm just saying you check.
  4. Exciting and fun run by my Celtics. Sucks, my 12 year old son is in tears.
  5. Curry is 100% the MVP of these Finals, no doubt, but Andrew Wiggins was the difference in this series. Not the best player, but the difference maker.
  6. Yeah, that what I had there. He and Tatum are super close.
  7. Tatum is just a mess right now. This is a complete mental meltdown.
  8. I love Jaylen Brown and he's a big reason the Celtics are even here, but with that said I think they need to at least quietly test the trade waters with him this offseason. Like, just quietly try and see what type of player you can get back. Don't do it if it's not a prime star (say Beal), but at least see what is out there.
  9. Yeah, but Boston just can't generate good offense.
  10. That was an awful call in this situation.
  11. Could just tell this was over when the Warriors went up 27-22 after the Celtics 12-2 start. Could just see it in both teams body language.
  12. Interesting first half stat. The Celtics might need Rob to go 24 minutes here on a bad knee.
  13. It's just so frustrating. Where is the rookie Tatum that dunked on LeBron's head in Game 7 of the ECF's and then talked trash to him? I still maintain he's not getting some calls, but he's also been incredibly weak and soft going to the basket. That play was a microcosm.
  14. Well, at least they stopped the bleeding a little bit there at the end.
  15. They did it the first possession and it worked perfectly. Haven't done it since.
  16. Just quit it Scott. You haven't commented in 3-4 games and then you come in with this now? Just stop. Wiggins 10000% has 2 hands all over him and reached in first before the hook.
  17. White: -24 Grant Williams: -23 Pritchard: -20
  18. Not that it matters, but that 3rd foul on Tatum was horrible.
  19. Oh my God. I'm going to lose my mind with another ridiculous unforced turnover. Its ridiculous.
  20. Yup, these ball screens from 30+ feet away hasn't worked all series.
