  1. Tatum definitely fouled Curry on the one 3 in the 3rd, the others I thought Curry was baiting.
  2. I guess I'll go with the old, the Celtics are attacking and being aggressive, while the Warriors aren't getting anything at the basket and are basically all perimeter.
  3. Without Brown, GS is up 3-0 right now. They're definitely up 2-1, Brown completely ignited that entire 4th quarter comeback in Game 1. Steph is phenomenal, I love him, but he doesn't deserve MVP if they lose.
  4. Huge quarter coming up. The Warriors have been a dominant 3rd quarter team all playoffs, and the Celtics have been horrible in the 3rd quarter all playoffs.
  5. Agree, but the difference is the Warriors just punish you with 3's when you commit live ball turnovers.
  6. I'm a Steph fan, always have been! No doubt. I love watching him play. He was robbed of the Finals MVP in '15. But no, if the Celtics win he isn’t the MVP. Jaylen Brown has had two separate "moments" in this series that have been incredibly impactful to winning. The 4th quarter of Game 1 and the 1st quarter of Game 3 so far. Tatum also, while not having an iconic moment yet, has been really, really good. Steph has been really good, but at the same time he was nonexistent in the 4th quarters of the two games that the Warriors have lost. He hasn't been 'that' great.
  7. The turnovers are for the Celtics are just ridiculous. Most of them are just bone head, unforced turnovers. Should be up 10+.
  8. Completely agree. Playing Tatum especially, and Brown as well straight up won't work. GS wins when they double Brown/Tatum and force them into turnovers or the "others" into bad shots and/or misses. I'd expect Draymond to come out incredibly physical tonight, so how he's officiated will be a major factor. I'm also expecting Kerr to adjust his lineup tonight and give Kominga and/or Moody some minutes. I could see one of those young guys coming in and making an impact.
  9. I don’t know what Archie was really like, but I can tell you that my coach in college would glare at us, scream at us, etc., as we ran back down court for missing shots. At halftime he would literally read our shooting numbers off the boxscore and go on and on about how it wasn't good enough, etc. I saw it completely ruin guys. Some guys would come in as shooters and by mid-way through their first season they were a mess shooting the ball.
  10. Game 4 is fascinating to me. Obviously, the Warriors backs are against the wall a bit. Will they come out like they did in Game 2 and just be super physical, and will Draymond muck the game up like he did in Game 2? Will we see the heart of a champion carry them to a big win to even the series? Conversely, the Celtics have really struggled to follow up good playoff wins. For most of the last 3 series they'll win a huge game and then follow it up with a dud. Will this be a turning point? One of those "Finals moments" where an ascending team realizes their moment and puts a stranglehold on the series against a proven team. Just a lot going on.
  11. It was a really great win, and while he's been solid, we haven't had a "Tatum game" yet. Fingers crossed it's the next one. Hopefully Steph's foot is ok, this next game is the only one with a 48 hour turnaround. Ime Udoka also made a big adjustment that isn't getting talked about. In both the 1st and 3rd quarters he took Rob Williams out 3 minutes into the half for Derrick White. It wasn't about anything Williams was doing wrong, it was about shortening the rotation and being able to bring Williams back in later for Horford instead of having to go to Theis. Theis is a good dude, but he's been awful all playoffs.
  12. Agree, at this point if the Celtics win Brown is the MVP. But, if Tatum has one of his dominant games like Game 6 in Milwaukee then that could change. For the Warriors, absolutely no chance anyone other than Curry wins it if they win the series. They almost can't even take Curry out of the game.
  13. While Tatum hasn't been dominant in this series, and he has the poor shooting game one, I do think he's been pretty good. He's been strong defensively and with the Warriors basically double teaming a lot of the time, he's averaging over 8 apg in the series.
  14. Why will no ref give Draymond a Technical?
  15. Agree, a lot of moving screens though too.
  16. I do agree with Van Gundy though, that tonight Tatum is finally driving to finish, instead of driving to try and get calls.
  17. You know I agree with you there.
  18. Yup, but their passing is so crazy. If they take care of the ball the Celtics will win, if they turn it over they'll lose.
  19. What is running under him and what is the shooter unconventionally jumping 3ft forward and kicking his legs? I wasn't really arguing the foul, because Curry is always going to get that, though I think it was a bad call. But, the flagrant was absolutely a horrible call.
  20. I'd be ok with that. Just worry about Looney on the offensive boards and the kickoff 3's them. But, I guess you need to pick your poison.
  21. Don't remember Curry's first foul being terrible. He could have been called for 2-3 more, so ill take those too of we're trading.
  22. Can't believe I'm typing this, but Horford is killing the Celtics defensively. Don't understand why he keeps dropping on the Curry ball screens.
  23. It was a horrible call. I'm talking about the flagrant. Curry jumped 3 ft forward and kicked his legs.
