McNeely, while obviously a great shooter, is more athletic and explosive than MM. Get McNeely at the 3, MM at the 4 and Reneau at the 5. Galloway back. Then go hit the transfer portal hard for veteran guards and wings that are smart, tough and can create and/or make shots. 

Problem is, it could just as easily go other way where we lose almost all of those guys and it's basically a rebuild. 

I would add that impact freshmen can make a helluva difference.  If McNeely can come in and be a "man" right away it tilts the scales.

I am not reading too much into it.  TJD and JHS are simply close by...the NBA All-Star game.

If Coach Woodson was as terrible at developing them both on and off the court, or the lazy and lackadaisical coach many on here portray him as, I'm sure they wouldn't bother...
