  4. Sept. 10: Reds 4, Cardinals 2 -- Matching A-Rod, passing Frank With his home run in the top of the fourth inning, on his 38th birthday, Joey Votto became the oldest player to hit a homer on his birthday since a 40-year-old Alex Rodriguez did it for the Yankees on July 27, 2015. It was also career homer No. 325 for Votto, who moved past Frank Robinson for second on Cincinnati's all-time list. Johnny Bench is the club's all-time leader with 389.
  5. Dave Stieb would be my all-time favorite Jay.
  6. I was a sectional champ as a sophomore in the 200m. Made it to the finals of the Fort Wayne Regionals and guess who is the lane next to me? Rod Woodson. You guys want to talk about a football player that had elite speed? Oh well. Glory Days. BTW, Lars Tate is another guy I got a chance to meet. A huge, fast guy.
  7. I gotta be honest. I will give the Bosox credit, I had them wrote off a month ago. That AL East/WC race is something else. I hope both the Yanks and Sawks falter and the wild card teams are 2 of Toronto/Oakland/Seattle.
  8. Syntax was/is not my strong suit...
  9. Guys like him is why I was injured a lot playing football.
  10. The big guy would beat me...easily.
  11. Easy answer, I didn't run my best at the finals. You can believe what you want to. But that 10.4 won the Huntington North Track Sectional in 1985. Go ahead and dig it up...you will find the same guy that won the 100m(me) also won the 200m and 400m as well at that sectional. Go ahead and dig up the 1985 Fort Wayne Regional as well. I ran all three at state that year. If you would like to wager on it I would be more than happy to take your money.
  12. Nope. Was a RB that was oft injured.
  13. September 10, 1993...The "X-Files" debuts on Fox.
  14. I bet that "wishful thinking" on the writer's part made him a pretty penny.
  15. Jays head to Baltimore...Yanks to visit the Mets. Maybe the Chisox can help you guys?
  16. 10.40 was my PB...that won a sectional title. I normally ran 10.6-10.7.
