It will be interesting how the media handles this Few "situation." I remember a NBC piece about 2 years ago where the author was criticizing Mark's "pot shots" at the Governor of California.

I don't remember the exact timing of it but the SAC went down to 8 after Harding and Elmhurst closed. So there might have been a couple of years in there where the FW schools played other conferences before Homestead and Carroll joined.

I would like to add that Few isn't really a media darling. He has made some statements in the past on various topics that the sportswriters sensationalized. With that being said, it wouldn't be ridiculous to assume that there is gonna be some "witch hunting" going on here. Basically looking for skeletons in Mark's closet. For all I know Few might have a major drinking problem...

Better get used to this. From another board: I get the point you are making about why that is the worst loss, however, I think Indiana clearly had the worst loss yesterday. Indiana fans and the program spent the entire offseason beating their chests, saying they were one of the best teams in the country with one of the best head coaches in the country and one of the best QBs in the country. They got complete manhandled by a likely solid Iowa team, but nothing special. Penix had a horrendous game. All of that goodwill from last season is bye-bye.
