SEC thinking about getting rid of divisions
Would be great if B10 did the same.

Like I mentioned above, this isn't an unusual circumstance for a home game on Thanksgiving weekend. Students are not on campus, so they need to get as many people in the stands as possible. Obviously being terrible doesn't help, but this in not abnormal.
I don’t disagree. But I also remember my days in the late 90s where they were giving away season tickets.
Watching ARE for free…that was the life!

This is amazing!
Thx. Normally there is fog and 4-5 more life-size ghouls and witches. The rain kept them inside this year.

Rift or not, it's still a risk for the owners. Will be interesting to see how public opinion will be if the 'Stros take a step back over the next couple of years.
I don’t disagree. I just hope Crane (the owner) decides not to go ‘Jerry Jones’. That’ll not have a pleasant outcome if that’s the case.

@NaturalhoosierWhere are your decorations? I know you are a big Christmas decorator!
Dude. My wife hasn’t fully taken down all of the Halloween decor. And with the Halloween being rainy this year she only did 75%.
i like the arches BTW. I tested 2 of those last year and they worked well. I’m going to build a few more this year. I have a tough time with Xmas decor because my yard is sloped. Here’s a walk around this year.

Astros win the World Series and now let go of their GM
There was a huge rift between Crane/Baker and Click. Click made some mid-season deals for some second tier players and whiffed on a few preferred targets.
As an Astros fan, I’m ok with this. But I also acknowledge that the Click family was very philanthropic within the Houston community and will be missed. From what I’ve gathered he and his family really loved the Houston area.

Rutgers goal. Down 1-3. 5 to go. That's the ball game (maybe this post won't age well!??!!).

Gotta love how someone from the Colts organization leaked to the media this morning that President Pete Ward and GM Chris Ballard didn’t agree with Irsay’s decision to hire Saturday as the interim HC.
lol I'm no Colts fan, but I'm not sure I can pinpoint a more obvious Good Ol Boys Club hire, ever.

It was, wish it was an IU corner though. It seems like the recurring factor for IU this season is that always find an equalizer and get back down early
Just missed a prime opportunity there...

Appreciate it. My dad did this when I was a kid, so it’s a learned habit/addiction lol. My kids love it and my oldest likes helping me. Hopefully will get it all done by next weekend. Hard part is done with the roof, so we will see lol.

I have a set of Jabra Elite 85t ear buds. I don't have a knock on other brands and can't say where these stand in comparison, I can only say I have had a great experience and have zero complaints. I also own a set of Jabra Evolve 75 headphones for my home office. I have used them on occasion to listen to music but they are mainly for taking calls. Noise Cancelling technology was important in my decision.

Costco is great for electronics and large appliances. They have a much larger selection in general (at least compared to BJs). BJs is cool for those who coupon as they accept them. We don't commit loyally to anyone store/brand. My wife does the shopping, so it's usually a hodge-podge of places.

Why is American football being played in Europe?
Money, obviously. And I get that. From a business perspective I completely understand. From a fans perspective I hate it. They play 17 games and each of them count. Then they say, You, You, and You have to lose your home game and play at a neutral site. In the grand scheme of things, it's probably not a big deal, but still.

My wife and I both read Tara Westover's Educated last year and both thought it was incredible. What a unique perspective and life. Also impressive that she got where she did with everything that happened.
Highly recommended.
Her life story is fascinating for sure. I love those types of stories.

Camden Yards is my absolute favorite. I love that park. PNC Park is gorgeous. I felt the corridors were a bit narrow (not like old Yankee stadium narrow) but for my tastes narrow. Coors Field is a great place to see a game. I also enjoyed Miller Park (best pre-game atmosphere for a random mid-season game I've been to...and the cheese curds in the park were delish!). Target Field is also very cozy...felt smaller/intimate than other MLB parks I've been to.
How could I forget Minute Maid Park. That's a beautiful stadium too. The ease of access in and around Houston made for a great trip.

Bogus! Strawberries!? Everyone in Delaware knows that Scrapple is the breakfast choice of the locals. Personally, I won't touch it, but locals love it.

I still have Direct TV. Too many channels that my wife likes that are hard to find through streaming. And, i like getting the local channels as well. I will, agree with you about their customer service. It's incredible how much that has suffered since the merger with AT&T.
Without sports, I personally get very little value whatsoever out of Direct TV. The family streams Netflix and Amazon Prime as well. I could probably cobble together a package of streaming resources that would be cheaper and meet my needs, but the wife would not be happy.
Sorry, I was referencing DTVs satellite interface. I can't speak on their streaming interface.
