This isn’t the first time things like this have been said the last few weeks fwiw. Nothing will happen this year but the talk of Stevens returning to college in the near future has picked up recently.
For what it’s worth, which is basically nothing lol, I had this thought a week or two ago - that he could return to coaching at the college level. I don’t know why, but I don’t think it’s a 0% thought.
On a completely unrelated topic, I’ll be starting a rosary, prayer vigil, and putting crystals out at the full moon.
And just want to say ditto what @HooosierMama said - CMW has a good year, goes out on a high note. I’m ok with that.

So if the Pacers can’t win then go Celtics?
I’ll believe this when I see it, but I wouldn’t be sad if Woodson had a good year this year, win a game or two in the tourney and then decided to retire on a high note, and Stevens comes home. I don’t know that I believe it but I’d be ready to get hurt again 😂
I like this line of thinking!

Honestly thought that should have been a tech whistled on Hurley.

If it isn’t going into Edey, Purdue better be behind the arc if they’re going to shoot.
Exactly. Just said this to my daughter (who picked UConn to win).

I plead the 5th.
It’s just fun to see basketball fans in Indiana be excited. I loved the women’s run in the tourney, as well as Indiana State’s run in the NIT.
i may feel differently as the game goes on. No promises on maintaining this cheerful excitement 😂😂

Genuinely excited for my Purdue friends. Seeing the posts from Purdue people on my Twitter feed, here in Indiana, it’s not hard for me to be excited for them. I think I don’t want the trophy back in Connecticut more than I don’t want Purdue to have it 😂. Bring the trophy back to Indiana!

Guess I'll throw it in here. Was on the phone with a client just outside of NYC about 15 minutes ago and apparently they had an earthquake near NYC?
As Maedhros posted, 4.8 in NJ. My daughter lives in Midtown Manhattan and I can confirm she definitely felt it! Said her entire building was shaking violently. Thankfully she was working from home today so didn’t have to deal with subway or trying to get home. Her office building, in the finance district, was evacuated. I told her to watch out for any water issues and stuff because the infrastructure of a lot of NYC is awful, and it wouldn’t surprise me if a couple old pipes shifted. Otherwise she’s good! Just glad she wasn’t on a subway when it happened!!

Does your husband know you post here?
Hahaha, yes. He then doesn't have to hear me talk IU basketball incessantly! Does he know he may need to make sacrifices? Maybe not? hahaha

Everyone complaining about Edey would sacrifice their left testicle if he were to announce he's grad transferring to IU to play ball next year.
I could sacrifice something else OR better yet, someone else’s left testicle 😂😂

So we keep in line with the thread topic. I like gardening. I hope I have Powerball numbers that hit. I also buy thin mints or peanut butter cookies from girl scouts....additionally I'm an 80 or so golfer and today I saved .50cents a gallon on gas with my Kroger card.
Thanks again to those posters who can't keep their stuff in the appropriate threads. I've now joined your tribe since it's not being managed.
I just laughed out loud reading this 😂

This is great. Wasn’t sure which thread to put this in, so putting it here. But I love it.

I don't think I've ever seen a professional bench react like they did when he posterized Wembanyama...
“He put the entire country of France on his back…” I could listen to that on repeat all day 😂

I love that kid. I would put him on my all time 13 man team. You’ve got a few years on me but I was in early elementary school in 1975 and that’s the first team I remember. That gives me, what, 49 years???
I wish I could have seen some of the guys you saw in the preceding years. But in 49 years, I’m finding a spot for TJD on my 13 man roster. I’m taking about my favorites. Some combination of good and attitude leading them to be on my list.
The way he stood up for the program and led was admirable in a way that a lot of guys never had to do.
Love TJD!! And same - I think I’m a tiny bit older than you. He’d definitely be on my all-time team. Just all-around great player, great leader, led by example, worked to improve his play, just love him.

Wait what did I miss - did a recruit cancel a visit today? I’ve been busy in the home project thread 🤣.

Currently watching Iowa v LSU and what a game!

Several years ago, I took the same daughter to a Triple A baseball game at the Louisville stadium, and ironically they were playing the Indianapolis Indians. We had a great time.

Grandfather was Electrical Engineer....could do anything with electronics or technology, Dad was a CPA but his true passion was cars....rebuilt his toys, did all his own maintenance....
Do you think I was passed down any of those traits? Nada. Zip.
My dad is a retired CPA, and my father-in-law was an electrician. My mom is more of an artist/writer. I like to say my parents’ skills of accounting and writing/art came together in my love of excel spreadsheets. 😂 (I like left and right brain things lol.) I found a love of woodworking & painting & putting those together now in a little side hustle. My husband and his dad enjoyed woodworking so we’ve got lots of tools, most of which I don’t know the proper name but I’m learning! 😂

Ok does it make me lesser of a man or I guess bad husband if I absolutely detest putting stuff together? We have a very generous MIL and occasionally she ships things. Last week we were sent some additional patio/deck furniture and chairs and other stuff.
Anyway my entire life (when I can afford) I buy preassembled. I hate putting stuff together. Almost makes my brain hurt. Anyway...she sent some chairs and tables and other stuff and all require assembling. I'm half tempted to return and pay the difference for assembled.
PS....she won't ever give us a gift card.
I put most of our things like that together. My husband hates it as well.
Glad I found this thread!

And, if you're anywhere in the Louisville area, you should take those seriously. The murder rate is totally out of control.
Staying overnight in Louisville in a couple weeks at the Brown Hotel so we can arrive, eat there in the beautiful hotel and not have to leave until the morning. Have never been to the Brown Hotel but it looks gorgeous and a destination in itself.
We return to our normal programming, Dusty May bball 🤣. Carry on!
