I think Miller may need to shoot better than the 36.1% from 3 that he did last year to hold onto his minutes. When you consider that over his four years in college, he has shot .360 from 3 overall, it's not a sure thing that he improves.

I tried telling people during the offseason that Reneau is already better, at least offensively, than Race or Jordan, and the idea that he's going to have considerably less playing time than them isn't in the team's best interest. If you watch Malik's high school games against high-level competition, his offensive skills jump out at you. It's going to be interesting to see what happens with his playing time. He's a first-team all-Big Ten kind of talent and is very advanced for a freshman.

That would make a lot of sense because that's about how far down a player can be picked, I think, and expect to get a guaranteed contract based on recent drafts.

I got to attend one of the games late in the season and watched Galloway in pregame warmups as he hit most of the 3s he attempted. That's not the same as doing it in a game obviously, but gave me some hope that the potential is there.

I think Leal makes a difference with how much and how quickly he moves without ball. Makes some good passes, too.
