  1. Told someone else on another site, I almost fell out of chair when he made that pass lol... It was a great pass, you're right and a good job by Banks to put himself in that spot.
  2. The percentage doesn't tell me anything. I don't really see that we are "arguing" though lol... I don't see that we are saying anything different here. I don't think JHS, as a whole, has really struggled with shot selection. I definitely didn't think he did vs. Maryland. Everyone sees the game differently. Go Hoosiers.
  3. Indiana is a mecca for youth sports, at least Indy is. Indiana Bulls are one of the premier travel organizations around (Rolen and Mercer have deep ties to that organization). Canes Midwest is #2 or #1 in some divisions, and we are getting a plethora of dudes from there. Biggest issue Mercer and IU has? Recruiting against Louisville, Vandy, and now Alabama a lot of Indiana kids. (Mercer has been VERYYYYYY good in OH, too) but, so has UL and Vandy.
  4. Thanks man! Obviously took a fair amount of work, but really enjoy college baseball... hoping we can just continue to be a factor.
  5. I just don't understand why the Maryland is a scar or well either game is a scar, honestly. He shot good shots against Maryland. I don't know what else there is to say. Did he take a bad shot against Purdue? No. He struggled against Minny, the assistants sat him for a while. He was going to sit for a bit vs. Maryland, but couldn't because TG couldn't stay out of foul trouble. This is a big nothing burger and JHS addressed it in the post-game after Purdue. Tamar Bates is the only player on our team that (and it's been better recently) that shoots poor shots. We've seen the graph that shows we BY FAR get the best quality shots in the country... JHS is included in that.
  6. ? what? He hit like 4 or 5 mid range shots vs. Purdue and I don't think the kid has taken a bad shot the past three games. Minnesota he did a couple of times.
  7. Oh I agree. JHS leaves... we HAVE to have a Vet PG.
  8. The actions we run to get those two guys those shots are the same. Just mentioning, it's nice that we have a little variation in how we finish that play, as you mentioned. Purdue couldn't guard it at all. Neither could Maryland, JHS just threw up 13 bricks lol
  9. Not sure you'd need a vet PG unless JHS moves on, but I have no issue having a plethora of dudes that can handle it. And yeah, would love another '23, as well. The odds are... we are probably going to have a player leave via transfer, and not just Kopp, TJD, Race, and XJ.
  10. There wasn't any way for him to make any more room though. Only thing we could have done is ask LD, Leal, JG to leave or ask Gunn not to sign. I mean, we did have 4 guys leave and replaced them with JHS, MR, Banks, and Gunn, so we had a pretty sizable roster turnover as it was. I think that transfer talk was a bit blown out of proportion because I don't believe those guys were coming here with XJ, JHS, and TJD taking up A LOT of shots. Plus.. you 3/4 spots were mostly already set. We didn't have mins for a transfer, unless someone important transferred.
  11. Add a piece or two in the portal. #1 most important is develop your own, though. Banks, MR, Bates, and JG can all be guys for us next year.
  12. I agree. Our team has to have him take those shots. He is selfish if DOESN'T shoot, even when he's struggling. Every shot(basically) that he took on Tues evening was a solid look... and almost all of them were within the flow of our offense.
  13. Indiana was anywhere between a 1pt-2pt favorite by tip. The ESPN app had updated by like 2pm or so to show that. Oddshark.com is a place I like to go to see multiple places books/lines.
  14. Would you have preferred the West Laf skyline? 😆
