I didn’t think the charge on Edey was a good call. I thought it was a travel. I also thought Malik fouled Edey on the play referenced. And the Kopp foul on Edey.. theres a law of verticality, he doesn't actually have to touch him with his arms, I thought that was a good call too. I also didn't have an issue with Gillis foul. Purdue just shouldn't have been surprised when Edey caught a body blow the next time he went up. 🤷‍♂️ I'm not trying to say you're wrong, I don't think that, just mentioning a difference of opinion. I thought the game was pretty well officiated, honestly.. and absolutely better than what we've seen. 🤷‍♂️ I think Banks caught a phantom call yesterday, didn't he?

Oh I agree. And the thought of Smith guarding XJ for extended periods of time is something I think we can very much exploit, as well.

Also... our offense HUMMED in the first half. For sure got stagnant at times in the 2nd half, Purdue played their part in that. Personally, a healthy XJ.. I'm not overly sure how they guard us at all.

Everything about his game looks confident. I hope he is ready the next time he gets a good look from three. If it's in the flow of what we do... take it. Malik seems to take coaching. He's grown up a lot during the season.

Not necessarily arguing for ND... just pointing out.. they have played the toughest schedule in that sectional and the 4th toughest in the entire South. Now.. not an elite schedule.. but in the top 25% of the state. I absolutely don't have a dog in the fight.

Man... first, yeah I think it's lame they went to 3A... If they hadn't, holy cow 2A in the South would be nutty with BC, Prov, and Linton... BUT.. and hear me out.. Beech Grove was loaded and that completely imploded.. Connersville isn't special, but absurdly well coached.. ND plays them on Sat. Other then them in the south you have-- Scottsburg, very talented bunch, but I don't think theyre a true threat until next year.. Northwood didnt handle them(ND) and they're #1 in 3A and very highly ranked in the They'll have to beat basically-- three of (after sectionals) Connersvile, Scottsburg, Ev Mem, and Brebeuf... Only gotta beat one team from the North (which looks absurdly good)...

Also... the 3 games @Auburn to start the year will be streamed on ESPN+ I subscribe to ESPN+ in the spring. Definitely get $10 a month worth of entertainment out of it.

That sectional has always been crazy in girls sports. Soccer for the girls is nutty for the sectional too.
