  1. He isn't good at drawing fouls when he does drive, though. To me you're talking about a player you'd prefer him to be, rather than the player he is. He's a tall Jordy Hulls, currently. I do hope he continues to build that ability. He could really come on next year. His shot is pretty lethal, currently.
  2. I don't lol Shoot it or get rid of it. He's struggled to drive, outside of one decent move vs... Michigan State? Can't remember the game. I don't like when he and Kopp dribble. but to each their own.
  3. We haven't struggled to score, for the most part, during those games. Bates isn't perfect, obviously.. but he has improved a ton since last year.... one more decent jump going into next year and we have a really solid player on our hands (and a lethal shooter) he's last two years. I don't necessarily it's a "no show" as much as it is ... people don't leave he and Kopp. I wouldn't if I were coaching against us. He missed two bunnies the last game, yes. I realize that.
  4. Ho hum... another Top 15 matchup with Michigan on Thursday. 830 tip on BTN IMO, we controlled the whole first matchup. We got up 17 or so in the 3rd.. and then kind of coasted. The Brown girl is a darn good offensive player.... 18p 6a, their 2nd guard Phelia can score too. Kiser (Noblesville girl) struggled in the first meeting, she couldn't guard Holmes and couldn't do much on the offensive end. She has good avgs though 16p 8r. We were up 67-50 with 3 mins to go in the 3rd in the last meeting... 68-56 at the end of the 3rd and then we gave up 27 points in the 4th. If we play well, I don't think Michigan can hang with us.
  5. Hope Scalia shoots every time she touches it. That stroke is nasty! She's firing, Yarden can shoot it from Israel and it'll go in. Parrish is quick triggered and a deadeye. Grace hit a three last night, you can't just completely leave her. Find some more confidence in CMM shooting the ball (she was fantastic distributing last night and I actually think she is a better passer than Grace is)... and my god, idk how you guard us.
  6. Tamar is 41-46 from the FT line as a Hoosier. One of those 5 misses? Front end of a 1 and 1 vs. NW the first time around, the next possession JHS missed a front end, as well, I thought those misses were massive.
  7. JHS is 77% from the FT line... since the first game of the year. He's made 12 of his last 13.
  8. right off the bat... bad pass by Jalen off the tip... should have been an oop... 1940- JG doesn't see the ball, allows his man to catch it too deep. 2pts NW Just watched the first half. JHS might have scored but he was awful. JG was very bad, too.
  9. For sure. I still think it'd be hard for me to give it to JHS over BS from what I've seen, so far. But.. yeah, undoubtedly crazier things have happened.
  10. He'll win it, duh. JHS is absolutely first team FR though.. maybe 3rd team right? It could happen.
  11. I've done research between JHS vs Jett H and Braden Smith... JHS #s/importance.. imo are better than Smiths and at least as good as JHs. Is there anyone else? Essegian, I'd have him 4th on this list, but he has been good to really good.
  12. I have no issue with that penalty being one of the few they called all game, of that variety. I think that says it simply enough.
  13. Oh.. and stay out of foul trouble!!
  14. Insane how many big games this team has had this year. Another Top 15 match up tonight. Keep OSU off the glass, make them go left/use counter moves. Lets go!
  15. The bold is a false narrative. They missed a call, but that doesn't mean they should miss more calls. It wasn't past five yards, it was defensive holding which you can never do no matter where you are on the field. If Bradberry doesn't hold, I think it's 6 for KC. They were schemed and JB was beat.
  16. "I was hoping he would let it go, but of course he's a ref, it was a big game," Bradberry said after the Eagles' 38-35 loss. "It was a hold, so they called it." Those were Bradberry's words.
  17. I can't really understand what the complaint is here. If he holds him, it's a penalty. But, if you didn't think it was a penalty, that's fine. Worrying about the alleged inconsistencies is a waste of time though. Shit happens too quick in the defensive backfield for the officiating to worry about that... call what you see and move on. It wasn't an egregiously bad call.
  18. Well the guy who committed the penalty .... said it was a penalty....
  19. Why? I just prefer them to call penalties, when there are penalties. That was a penalty. On 3rd down earlier in the game, they missed the call... JuJu was held and that should have been a first down. So what? Two wrong calls don't make it right. Sometimes you get caught on defense.
  20. I don't really care for officiating that way. If it's a penalty, it's a penalty, that was a penalty.
