I've always found it odd that there was a time playoff/post season stats didn't count in some sports.

That's an absolute joke.

You make adjustments literally DURING the play ... before the play, in the play, after the play, on the sideline, on the headset. It's constant. Lots of times, you just need to play better, rather than adjustment being made.

As a FR---- EJ Williams had 9 catches 125 yards and 1TD in the CFP Semi-finals and National Championship.

It's possible. But, there are worse things he could be doing with the next 365 days of his life then spending another trip around the sun being pampered in Bloomington.

Yeah, I have no issue if ppl look at TJD records differently than others (if he were to play a 5th year)... perfectly fine by me. But, in that same breath... you had better be celebrating what he will end up accomplishing by the time he leaves here (in 4 years)... All time leader in blocks, Top 3 in rebounds (at least), and Top 5 in points. That is a BIG time career.

They're still viewed as "cool" amongst the young kids.

I mean... what about the guys that played in the 1920s. They only played 21 games in the 1920-21 season!

To be clear.... we should all very much want TJD back on our roster next year, regardless of what it would do to the record books.

Tampa sucked all year

Ryans-- don't disagree, but I don't think I'll be mad if we go that route. Saturday- I am confused by the whole thing. While I didn't agree with some of the complaints on him during his time here, I also don't necessarily see any reason not to move on from him.

Couple of things to add-- this is a great post first.. TE- Bomba is fine, as mentioned. But, Steinfeldt was a freak athlete in HS.. I think he will truly be an "average B1G TE" and I don't mean that as a knock. Like he will hang, make some solid plays for us, etc. But.. Foley, Sam West, and Ryan Miller are well ranked guys. I've mentioned I'm a fan of Sam West.. B1G time athlete. But, Foley was someone Tennessee wanted and just didnt have a scholly for.. Ryan Miller had offers... Foley and Miller are both 6'6, as well. DB- we also have 2 Juco safeties coming in. And don't forget Monds. I'm in the belief.. we saw Keys, Watley, Lanier leave because the younger guys/transfers were simply going to squeeze them out of playing time. 🙏 I loved your thoughts on the OL.

I read we have 5 or so scholarships left. We are still recruiting a couple of HS SRs.

They do offset that by playing the Sunday night game next weekend... You could also look at it like... Dallas/TB got extra rest heading into this week compared to the 9ers... My opinion... advantage 9ers, for sure, but 🤷‍♂️... hate that for you Dallas and Tampa.
