Their bucket in transition with 750 to go in the first half is the type of s*** that needs to be better between JG and Bates. Jordan is still very unaware at times defensively. It cost us dearly in the B1G tourney last season. Zero reason we should be giving up that easy of a bucket in that situation.

Great post. Its just output based. Which is fine. Some enjoy the process. He isn't coaching any different, there were no magic buttons pressed. It's truly as simple as if we win, we played well... If we lose, we played poorly, for some.

Agree, but that is because some chomp at the bit to make every loss a "big issue" and we have to read the state of the program posts after each loss, and then we get the posts attacking Woodson. Whether anyone wants to admit it our not, it was always going to take Woodson and staff longer than 1.5 years to turn this train wreck around.... so the fact some were absurdly over critical of him and others because we lost 3 games without 2 starters, yeah it annoys us. Woodson didn't push any magic buttons the last two games, our team played better and we executed. Added a couple wrinkles in the half court, and kicked the shit out of ILL in ATOs.

The only issue with the "whole picture" has been the injuries, if we're being honest.

Also.. Malik is starting to fill out. Shoulders, arms, and traps are starting to show clear definition. During the play where he should have had an And 1.... I thought it was pretty clear the work he is doing in the weightroom.

watching the game... after TJDs clear block that they called a foul on..... XJ for sure "reacts". He does, he then turns directly to the bench and sits down... which is exactly what he should do. XJ didn't make it any more demonstrative than any other player does. The official then goes TO HIM, literally walks 10ft OUT OF HIS WAY.... to get into XJs face, and then Ts him up, while XJ is sitting on the bench, in a F'ing boot. Unbelievable lol

Well.. I think he's able to just go play his role, ya know? He isn't a perimeter player, find some cuts, O rebs.. just be active. He's been excellent (still some issues with decision making).. for two games.
