  1. Correct. Cross training is incredibly important.
  2. Ehlinger is a back up. I hope we expand on the package we used JB for... that was fairly successful, and use SE in that role. 4-5 plays a game. Eason and Wentz have big boy arms. Andrew Luck is the reason Brissett ever got on the field. Well that and Grigson.
  3. How on god's green earth did I forget him.... lol Wowza. 6 in the Top 24.
  4. 3 in the top 24 so far. Penix and McFadden gotta be in there too. So... 5 in the top 24.
  5. Kid has almost 90 career tackles as a DB and that is just in 18 career games. He had 4 solos against us in the bowl game.
  6. Your first sentence is excellent. Mullen was a 4 start guy on Rivals. Guys like Bedford, Cam Jones, Reese Taylor, Jaylin Williams, Peyton Hendershot were scouted very well. We will get there with the "big time guys"... but you have to have depth and we are building that in bunches.
  7. Franklin. I'm saying I'm pretty sure I saw those were THIS years cleats. So... I'm pretty sure they went out of their way to allow him to have them. No skin off IU's back, but it is still a nice gesture. I don't ever remember seeing us wear those cream cleats. Maybe I'm wrong. I know Dasan wore them on one of his 11 visits lol
  8. Dear god.. Bloomington will be NUTTY. Truthfully though... I'm not big on "moral" victories, but we play 60 mins of tough football against the Buckeyes and I'll be a happy fan. There aren't many teams can stand toe to toe with them for 8 straight quarters and we will have done that. Have to find a way to get off to a better start than last year though. Good start, execute, give yourself a chance to win it at the end.
  9. I will sleep that night on the 50 yard line at Memorial Stadium if that happens. Naked or not is TBD.
  10. I wear a mask every single time I'm instructed to. I'm not the one standing in the way of normalcy lol you are.
  11. Ahh... lets hide in our bedrooms and never get back to normalcy. Heck of an option you've came up with! My priorities are LITERALLY my students and players having their lives go back to normal. There is a virus out there that, from what we've seen, does not hamper them in anyway. The science backs that. Could there be long term effects? I mean.. yeah there could be. There are risks in everything. You could fall down the stairs, you could get in a wreck, you could have a heart attack, etc. Why are you so scared of living? Aren't you vaccinated? From what we've seen from Covid as far as teenagers go... your fear is wayyyyyy out of whack. It doesn't align with reality.
  12. right with like leather helmets and all that. I gotcha 😆
  13. We always play on Fri lol When we are visitors
  14. These weren't the cleats wer wore last year... I understand how the player packs work. I still have some of mine from college.
  15. I think we wore our red tops that night didn't we? Pretty sure haha... red spat as well. Those kids loved it. Should have beaten Bosse in the regional that year in basketball, as well.
  16. But... the virus isn't bad for the students.... at all. We've seen that. It's scientifically proven. 350 deaths from school aged kids since Covid started.... there were 2700 deaths from teenage drivers in 2019 alone. Isn't 99.8% survival rate pretty good? And that's of the cases we know. We haven't seen that it's an absolute must for them to get vaccinated. 🤷‍♂️ "Vaccinated"
  17. I did exactly what I was forced to do. Every single time.
  18. It's immensely better. 8 lane track, turf field, new home bleachers, new press box. Removal of eye sores. New business manager is great. Our grass was awful before that. Horrible. BUT... Elm St is a treat
  19. Just a note. Those are his cleats from IU. So we didn't take back his gear... pretty cool. Tom Allen liked the post Cooper retweeted. Pretty cool to still support those guys.
  20. It's an excellent place. Impressive home field for Memorial. I enjoyed it. Take out Lindeur that would have been an excellent game 3 years ago. He's the best player we've ever played against. They could have featured him even more like Mater Dei did for Schiff. Zero chance there is many better from Evansville. Patrick Mallory was a boss too.
