  1. @Leathernecks one thing about Powell.. didn't he basically sit out the year prior to this one? I think so. Little rusty last year. If he can be marginally better... that can go a long way. For the most part, the pass blocking was solid. Can absolutely improve though.
  2. Jones was like 385-390 I think. Now 360. Could lose another 15.
  3. I feel very confident in those 6 listed WRs.
  4. Once Dasan committed its been everyday and nearly all of them.
  5. Right. I hate to bring up Archie.. but he did keep us in it for Romeo haha Everyone else kind of went away.. and boom he's a Hoosier. Crazier things have happened than Caden Curry playing football in Bloomington. Also.. and just to be clear. It is LAUGHABLE that there is an OT listed ahead of him in the state. All I'm going to say about that topic for now.
  6. I think Haggard will back up each tackle. I also LOVED seeing Randy Holtz move ahead of Norwah. Keep improving, Randy!
  7. Going to keep this as a running thread throughout the season for depth chart and personnel talks... Some quick notes: -We are usually very vanilla in our first depth chart (most are). -Luke Haggard has gained nice weight.. he played last year at like 275lbs and didn't do too bad. -Chris Keys replacing Tracy at #2 CB is interesting. We have soooo much experience in the def backfield. -DL wise.. incredible amount of depth. I loved seeing Person move inside. Maybe not the biggest guy there, but he can absolutely be disruptive with his quickness inside. I think Anderson will move inside on obvious passing downs and Handy+Bonhomme will be the edges. Bryant and Ziemba are great for our zone blitzes. Sink or swim for James Head this year.. he has to produce. -Will we ever see Beau Robbins and Cameron Williams? Shew -We have never seen talent/experience/depth like we have right now
  8. He said there's a better chance of a heart or breathing problem from Covid for a young person compared to the virus. And I said that's not true. I didn't say no young ppl had covid complications from the virus... I know someone, 30 years old that got bell's plasy from the vaccine. I'd much rather risk the flu than myocarditis.. if I were a 24 yr old pro football player.
  9. We're in the thing though right? Find a bloop double and a seeing eye single here and let's finish this thing.
  10. Like.. some of the reason I wanted to educate myself on some of our Native Americans heritage..... is because at a young age I saw the Chief at FSU, I saw other parts of their "culture" that truly intrigued me. Wigwam in Anderson was another reason. I loved the head dresses, I thought they were fantasizing. We aren't mocking their culture, truly, we are celebrating it by integrating into our lives. We love it. Truly makes us a melting pot. "Those Braves from Brownstown are on the war path this coming Friday when they travel to Seymour and play in front of 3-4k people for the Jackson Bowl." We run out to the war drums at home... tell me that s*** isn't cool... love it.
  11. That's not true for young people. I had the virus and have had zero lingering effects.
  12. I would encourage my kids to do anything they feel like they need to "better" themselves. I can see that risk, I can see that reward. The absolute only reason I see for a player (most) to get the vaccine is to get everyone off his back. And I don't really think that's a good reason. Now I'm not advocating they are wrong to get it, but they should not be chastised for not.
  13. Great post. FSU is intimidating in their whole set up. Everything about it. My HS is the Braves. We were honored to be called that.. we thought it was very cool. It's also not something I'm going to feel ashamed for. The Indians had awesome uniforms. Smh.
  14. I will convene with my wife and pray.
  15. I will not ever call them the Cleveland Guardians what in world are we honestly doing
  16. Right. I can go along with that somewhat, other than... if a non vaccinated person is a close contact (absolutely idiotic term)... they should get tested within two days, if nothing.. and no symptoms. Move on. Truthfully, if they'd stop testing their season would be so simple and so much cheaper.
  17. Look.. I get the argument "just get the vaccine and make it easy".. I do get that. But to not understand the players side of this... marginally disturbing.
  18. So... outside of it simply being easier to play football this year... Why would a perfectly healthy 22yr old get a vaccine they don't need?
