  1. So much pressure on that pick to stay healthy though. Shew.. lost Saquan last year (I had #2)... and still ended up 3rd in league and won playoffs. 1st in 10 team isnt too bad to me, but in a 12 it can be tricky. 🤷‍♂️
  2. He had zero preseason games, not much work in the off season with Covid, and had a big time adjustment to running out of the gun compared to under center. All of that coupled with the OL struggling a little early. Yeah he wasn't great early, but when he did come on... Jesus. Taylor didn't get the ball all that much last year. He was 11th in carries per game and 19th in catches. I hope it stays there. Mack and an Achilles.. any production is a bonus. I dont think he gets much more than 3-5 carries or so a game.
  3. Matthews, Ball, McFadden, Jones, Bonhomme are flat out athletic freaks and will all be starting on our defense. Taylor and Mullen are the best pair of CBs we've had, maybe ever. Handy and Anderson are fantastic additions.
  4. We're not turning this thread into a "predict Purdues future" thread like what happened on Rivals... Be a Hoosier, Joe.
  5. Only played 7 games last fall because of Covid... 700 yards receiving and 10 TDs.
  6. The bolded. So true... had a kid a couple of years ago, 6'3 175lbs. Comes back a year after HS, 6'4 200lbs and built like a brick s*** house. I saw him listed at 6'2, as well. One last point I'll make.. and Teegardin mentioned this the other day on Twitter, scout team are sooooo important. At minimum I think we can see that this kid should be a very solid SPT player and scout guy.
  7. Also.. and not Dunnams fault, but watching is highlights is difficult because of the poor camera set up. Never film from inside the press box!!!
  8. Going to be the same size as Jamar Johnson when he graduated HS.
  9. I love it. Trust YOUR eyes, NOT a scouts. It's your team, it's your school, it's your program. CTA knows what WE need, I have no clue if this kid can play, but truthfully, 247 doesn't either and their job isn't on the line like CTAs is with essentially each recruit. (I know you aren't questioning him at all lol) I just love this stuff. I find diamonds in the rough very intriguing. Like half the starters in the last SB were 2 star recruits or something "other". It's not a line I want to be walking with 8 to 10 recruits a year, but 1 or 2. Heck yeah!
  10. This is all very fair. But, but.... he runs behind the best or 2nd best running blocking OL in the league and that has be taken into account. Gibson and Hunt ahead of him are laughable.
  11. https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-running-back-rankings-the-32-best-rbs-entering-the-2021-nfl-season Has anyone read this? Woof.
  12. Think new indoor would be next right
  13. I'll be honest.. I understand why Rodman kicked the camera guy. That has to be so incredibly annoying having those guys right on top of you when you play.
  14. I dont watch golf. But there is a guy on tour right now, Chris Baker that's from Brownstown. His mom was my sister and I 5th grade teacher. Awesome family. Chris is one of the nicest dudes you'll meet.
  15. I think Rhodes, Rock, Tell, Carrie, and Moore are a nice contingent of CBs. Not the greatest, but serviceable.
  16. I wasn't trying to talk about Campbell in the first place lol I was trying to talk about Hooker. One of very few misses Ballard's had, Hooker never panned out.
  17. But they didn't "bail" on Hooker... he completed his rookie contract. We had no reason to resign him. Same with Parris next year... There's literally no reason to make this about Ballard at all lol... Campbell has infinite amounts of upside, Hooker doesn't. Hooker plays a position where we already have two better to significantly better players, Campbell doesn't. There are about 100 reasons Campbell is on this roster and Hooker isn't. He can get a safety any day as good as Hooker, can't just go draft 4.31 speed every day of the week. 4.31.
  18. What does Campbell have to do with Hooker? Hooker isn't as good as Blackmon in the box. It's not close. Henry ran all over the Colts the 2nd time because the league made up a rule about players that were close contacts to allegedly positive covid tests and our best defensive player, didn't play.
  19. There was no contact with his last injury.
  20. For real? Hooker had two MAJOR injuries and Blackmon is legit already better. Safety isn't exactly a position thats somewhere we are going to sign someone like Hooker to a veteran contract.
  21. "Great".. I would disagree. Solid and good enough to win big, yes I think so. I'm talking from perspective of Wentz REALLY shining. We just aren't going to be that kind of team imo. He's going to be a really good version of Rivers. (Which is ok) .. but truthfully, you give him Mike Evans, Gronk, and that crew.. his numbers are just as good as Bradys if not better.
