Some of you have watched entirely too much basketball to blame this on subbing. Outrageous complaint
-
I've never seen a team so proud of themselves as Auburn. It's like a 2K game.
-
We did. MM didn't get get matched in transition.
-
What if we don't think he's good enough?
-
If we walked into next year with a QB room of--- McCloud/Rourke TJ Lowry Cherry/JMU decommit (Can't remember his name) Wow.. I would love that. That's serious depth/competition.
-
We might need an "incoming transfer" thread... In the mean time.. I sincerely hope Jordan McCloud is our starting QB next season.. Clear talent there. Seems to understand the offense well, distributes on time and accurately.
-
I would be shocked if he doesn't play baseball in college, at least. 100% could play both. At least to start. Too many examples of kids making that work. No chance Mercer+Cignetti wouldn't make that work.
-
I was wondering if Kobe was his brother. Kobe is a big time baseball player too. 6'4 230 is the last listing I've seen on him.
-
Not sure the validity... but the info did come from a respectable source... Supposedly we operated with $1 million in NIL this past year... Allegedly that number is going to grow to $5 million this coming year.

Justin Joly TE from Connecticut is visiting. 6'3 235lbs. He was 6'3 190lbs as a SR in HS.. rated the 343rd best WR in the country. He had 1 D1 offer. He had 500+ yards receiving last year. Since Monday-- Tennessee, Nc St, Houston, and IU have offered. ---------------------------- 2022 MAC POY Kurtis Rourke was offered. He was rared the 2200th recruit in his class. Since transferring-- Vandy, BYU, and Wake have offered.

https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/2024-tight-end-commit-brody-kosin-quickly-bought-into-curt-cignetti/ Lots of good stuff here.. notice Texas and Mich St offered once we fired CTA.

100% I do absolutely love Mike Tomlin. I've listened to him talk about perspective/coaching philosophies a couple of times. Can't get enough of his talks.
-
Hate that for them
-
pitt was a pretender the whole time, handle your own Colts, and we get playoff football in Indy!
-
We haven't heard much? There's been like 20 kids mention offers. I've already discussed this topic. Huge % of Allen high 3s and low 4s were dudes that none of the top teams were recruiting by the end, regardless of offer. Looked good on paper. I didn't realize you were going to take that so literally. It'd be malpractice for Cignetti not to see how deep that connection runs.

Fun Belt conference POY
-
Yeah, a 5 star that a staff member has an absolutely unusual connection to. He didn't just puff up and offer some random kid. Eeesh Outside of that, what's been the story? JMU, some other 3 stars. One kid isn't the rule, from his first whatever days at all, it's been the others. Plus transfer portal.

Just worried about handling pressure on the perimeter the next two games. To counter our lack of 3pt ability, we HAVE to get to the FT line--- we ranked 37th in FTs made per game and 25th in FTs attmepted per game. We shoot 72.9% from the line, outside of Sparks..
-
Oh it's damn close and it's 100% what he was alluding to. I can give you 10-15 examples of CTA taking "high 3 star" "4 star" guys that basically no one else was recruiting, even though they'd offered by god... them coming here and not being worth a shit. So many examples Some "recruiting expert" dubbed them a 4 star on their meaningless recruiting site. No true scout done of the player, nothing, just a worthless rating.

Elon being a successful program was an interesting tidbit. They were 12-47 before he got there. Coaching staffs everywhere "don't always honor every previous offer", not a reason to knock him. The pc stuff crazy overblown... no one cares. Doesn't have a resume? He has the best resume we've ever hired... he was a 25 year D1 asst before becoming a HC the past 12 years. I'm guessing none of the 3 coaches you mentioned gave a shit who we hired. What CC has said since then isn't a drop in the bucket for them. Again, no one cares but petty IU fans.
-
Another one we're keeping
-
We are only ever going to get 2-3 "star" kids. CC basically said that in the presser.
-
Wow. That's a tremendous analogy.
-
That really isn't informative. We understand it's a different school, literally, than Elon and JMU.
