  1. Well there ya go! 3 pathetic defensive plays and CJ made them pay for 2. Both 3s, too.
  2. What CTA kids are you talking about? So what is this place? Whats the approach he's suppose to take? Elon was 12-45 in the last 5 seasons when he took that job.. sound familar? CTA took an incredibly unique approach to coaching D1 football, had the best W/L record we'd had since Mallory, and you guys couldn't stand it. Crean clapped too much, Crean tanned too much, Crean "creaned" too much. Wtf!!! I honestly have not one clue where you could be coming from with any of this?... what makes him "come off as an arrogant blow hard"? So.. you wanted our brand new coach to keep more players that had been a part of 2-10, 4-8, and 3-9? 👍
  3. Just curious, is that where you watch the games on like BTN or whatever?
  4. Did you watch on your laptop? No Roku/Fire stick?
  5. Yeah and before last night he was 2-28 from 3 in college and hit 2/3.. 🤷‍♂️ I'm saying... it's an above average look for a D1 player.. If CJ Gunn is ever going to consistently help us, he should be shooting that shot 100/100. I loved the aggressiveness. Shot selection doesn't bother me the way it does some.
  6. Guess we'll agree to disagree. That's ok.
  7. I've never been a fan of how much elevation he gets. I feel its hard to be consistent. Maybe in the lane he can do it more.
  8. The shot 11:39 in the 1st half? That's the only mid range jumper I remember him taking. I guess I am confused why that's considered a crazy shot when you're this open..
  9. Secondary transition. Got his feet set, ready to go on the wing and let it fly. Minimal jumping.
  10. 3 games he was healthy? I am having a hard time find the parallel between the shot attempt amounts you're mentioning and him forcing things. Per 40 mins he is 8th in shot attempts per game. I do think there is something to "he isn't always finding the right times to be aggressive" I can get down with that. BUT--- he was shooting 5 FTs per game at an 80% clip, that alone has substantial value. Can it not just be explained that he sat out 9 months, has to adjust to completely new teammates, and then now got injured againt to hault that progress? I guess I don't really even understand why we're discussing XJ. Our team is playing really well. Mike Woodson will get XJ, if he can get healthy, into a spot where he is helping our team. He's already shown the ability to do that. Sidenote--- XJ is a 39% 3pt shooter during his time at IU. Thought that was interesting.
  11. Hmmm.. I was able to. You couldn't rewind or FF?
  12. This is exactly how I saw it. I think Ware+Malik were our MVPs.. Wares 2nd foul was when UM made their run. In general, I don't necessarily think all of us have the same interpretation of "mvp" or vote in the same way. (Not really a big deal) ....I think some vote--- "how did they play vs what is our expectation level for that specific player." Simply, put, and lord as always, IMO-- Gunn isn't the MVP last night. He IS the guy who played the most above their expectation level. That doesn't equate to MVP to me, but no worries that others vote that way.
  13. The one where Oliver bear hugged Malik, fouled him on the drive and then fouled him twice as he was shooting? Yeah that was a frustrating play.
  14. I can see that. Man.. Malik could be an absolute walking bucket next year. So much more explosive.
  15. We were a 7.5pt dog 🤣🤣🤣🤣
  16. Have to get XJ back soon, but wow, great win. Everyone made a big contribution. That was fun. MM. .. let it fly kid.
