  1. The ability to EFFECTIVELY switch with Galloway, X and Gunn on the floor together is a game changer when needed. Some say the Hoosiers were lucky because OSU missed so many good looks. I felt that the D was able to make their shooters uncomfortable and get them out of rhythm.

    Huge improvement from Wednesday!

Add Gunn’s contributions and it’s night and day compared to every game so far this year. Maybe we will get some decent guard play moving forward.

  3. Great win and the Hoosiers got really hot defensively for about a 7-10 minute stretch in the second half. Every OSU shot was contested.
I’m afraid Reneau, Ware and Mbako can almost never all be on the floor at the same time.  Their offensive skills don’t make up for their defensive liabilities.
If Reneau gets a motor, watch out!  He floats on the perimeter and doesn’t crash the boards all the time but what an offensively gifted young man. When/if he figures out how to play all out, all the time he will be an absolute beast.

  4. When searching for a positive from tonight, I think it gives us a great and immediate  (Thursday) chance to see if this team is willing or able to grow from a game like this. They should get a clear look at what it looks like when energy is lacking and they just flat don’t play consistently hard. Usually a Christmas break game with North Alabama would be a snoozer but we’ll know a lot more about this team’s chances to reach any of their goals by the end of Thursday.

  5. Got hosed pretty good in that one. Sure, hit a few more shots/free throws and the point is moot but can’t overcome that whistle. Appropriate that it ended with a blatant no call.
To fight back like that proves that this is a really good team that just has to shoot fairly well from the perimeter to be special. Good times ahead.
