TJD absolutely needed to be better, no doubt about it. But the guys who played tonight left everything they had on the floor and I'm proud of them for that. I'm proud of Woody for making a really hard decision. I'm confident that this program and probably even this 2022 version of the Hoosiers will be better for that type of leadership. 

Agree completely. Outstanding post. Would have been easy to let things slide as coach in a crucial game. He didn’t. Will help in the long run.

Was 5-5 with 1038 in first half so they have exploded now to 23-16 with 45 seconds left in half. Painful to watch.

Will never forget that shot. Sitting behind the basket with my wife. Still gives me chills seeing it go in.

Unfortunately the same can be said for Geronimo. He has more moving screens than anyone else on the team this year. I’m pretty sure he had two against Marshall.

Both could be contributing this year but neither wanted to. Coach wanted to build a program. One AD was finishing his career and wanted to continue forward. The other was not ready to complete for a spot in this program and wanted out. Some are entitled more than others. We have seen that many times before. I personally think he would have started for this group but he didn’t want to compete which makes me glad he made his decision.

OSU had a slow start to the season. I hate OSU. I know Iowa and PSU kicked our butts but watching them did you really think they were complete teams?  I was not impressed with either offense. Having watched OSU play I will be surprised if they don’t win the Big Ten Championship with a more complete team. 
 

Also I cannot wait to play likely #10 MSU next week at home. Another team that has had the benefit of scheduling and is not as good as their ranking. 

We need to finish out this game and show up for MSU. That will make or break season.

PSU - 2 in play penalties. 1 illegal touching, and a hold on a meaningless play at the end of the 1st half.

You're going to say in 3 games against top 10 teams, the other team hasn't had a single pass interference, only 1 defensive hold, and only 1 offensive hold? No illegal hands to the face, no face masks, no roughing the passer calls, and only 1 offensive and 1 defensive hold in close to 400 total plays. Yeah right.

 

How funny. Had to explain that part of the game to my 16 year old daughter during this game. I have taught her the game over the years. She asked several times why this or that penalty was not called and I had to explain the concept you refer to. 

D has played well. Need Offense to step up. Tuttle looked better in one series than Penix all year. 

Hope Penix is OK. Tuttle is fine but obviously not long term solution. Play Tuttle and sprinkle in The freshman ?Mcaulley. Get him some time

Yes. They know who is supposed to win. We need to change the script
