  1. What do a near sighted gyno and a puppy have in common? Wet nose!
  2. The only way we hit 75-85% vaccinated is if it is forced. Then that will open up a whole new set of problems... my guess is you get about as many vaccinated as will take it, then open everything back up... if the vaccine is a high risk to the old and weak, they won't take it. People will go see their parents and grandparents, because who wants to live the last year or two of your life alone. I only know 3-4 people who have taken it, and they are all pretty young. My 81 yr old mother in law retired nurse is more likely to give it to us, than we are to her. Her and her friends go wherever they feel like..
  3. It's a big reason I believe we will never hit the numbers they are looking for. A very large portion believe its pointless if you can still get, carry, and be contagious. I currently fall in that group... If I lived in a very heavy hit area I may think differently. I believe Lostin76 said quite a few medical workers are now declining to tale the shot... if they are, good luck getting a significant number of Midwest and Southern states to buy in
  4. I could be wrong, but I'm under the impression you can still get, carry, and spread covid even after being vaccinated. The vaccine just cuts symptoms severity down... some correct me if I'm wrong

  6. Lol I am not quite there yet.. only due to the fact I promised the wife we would finish this theater room. I was really back and forth on saying screw it, and putting a pair of La Scala up front. My friend owns a Home theater business, and was really wanting me to try this Triad stuff, so I did. If things get back to semi normal over the next year, I will be picking your brain on some of this stuff. I'm just learning, but have similar tastes to yours obviously.
  7. Born in '76. And yes, that has retro written all over it. My stuff is all the latest from Marantz, but I certainly appreciate the direction you are going. I can see myself heading that way as well, for a designated two channel system. I like Harbeth quite a bit... although im not a klipsch guy, I find myself drawn to their La Scala... either ran on tubes will be good i think
  8. Very cool! It's hard to beat the sound of a good tube amp. Thanks for sharing, and please update us when your Rogue comes in.
  9. Right now I am using this system for dbl duty... eventually I want to build a true 2 channel setup myself. I just picked up a pair of Rega rs3 from a friend of mine. Peachtree is on the short lost to run those as well... Eventually i will get a turntable. Rega is what I have been researching mostly... I was going to do entire Paradigm Persona system, but my friend talked me into the Triad Gold series for my room. So far I have no complaints. They aren't fancy or cutting edge in design, but they sound pretty dang good. Marantz and Parasound powering it all... 5.3.6
  10. I agree, you can definitely go too big. We went to an 85" tv, I don't think I would want to go larger.
  11. Anyone really get into HT and or 2 channel audio? I've been working on my room for the last few months now. Almost complete
  12. Definitely the wrong thread! I threw my phone down and then posted... obviously i hit something in the fit i was throwing 🤣
  13. CAM preparing his meme for message boards 😂
  14. My niece and nephew both have taken the vaccine.. as of yesterday, their heads had not exploded yet. They are both young. Long term I'm worried about fertility issues on the younger generation
  15. There are a ton of different strain to covid... is this vaccine going to cover them all, or is it going to be like the flu shot? My uneducated guess is it will cover what was in the vaccine, and your sol on the other strains
  16. Paranoia will take a long time to get past. Then we get to see what the long term issues are going to be, economy, mental, starvation... people in 1918 were quite a bit tougher than this world is today
  17. Sorry brother, normal is a long way off for us, if we ever see it again.
  18. Fauci says you can still possibly pass on covid even after the vaccine... I don't know anyone in my family that's going to take it
  19. I feel sorry for the people who cant actually wear a mask. I used to work with a guy who was so claustrophobic, he couldn't keep a mask on his face. I saw him literally jump off a 20' extension ladder, and flail aound on the ground like he was on fire. All because of a paper mask... dude was white as a sheet and sweeting like crazy.
