Not to mention an 11 personal foul and 11 FT attempt deficit...
I went back and watched the last few minutes of that game on YouTube and Purdue had three fouls give to in the last minute😳

Good callout on the NET. We are also about that high in KenPom.
I think we are sitting in a great spot if we have a strong last month and a half to get up to a 3-4 seed, and we still have an outside shot at making a run at the conference (sweeping Purdue would be a must in that, which will be a tall task but glad the first game is in Bloomington).
We were a wide open Parker Stewart 3pter from sweeping them last year

Last I heard Izzo say was he was out "indefinately."
Yeah I thought an announcer said indefinitely on last night game. Lower leg injury?

Great win. Tremendous defensive effort. TJD was playing the game with a joystick. He’s looked healthy the past two games. Starting to see some chemistry with Geronimo. Game slowing down for JHS. Hope the wrist is OK.
This win puts us back in the hunt. Need to hold serve on Sunday. No way Izzo lets the game be that easy for TJD, but MSU doesn’t have their typical inside game. We’ll need more than 3-9 from three, though.
Need to work on the press, not dribbling into traffic and reduce the fouls. MSU won’t shoot 9-23 on FTs (shocking stat)
Will Malik Hall still be inactive is a huge question

Easier said than done I’d imagine. He’s done a great job staying out of foul trouble and just being a rim protector.
I think it’s less of Edey and more the way the B1G is officiated. We’ll find out in the tournament when the games officiated differently if he can adapt quickly

I’m back to Archie mode. I record the game, then check the score before I watch it. Tonight was a delete.
I’m more excited for Ball State games than IU😂

That’ll teach everyone not rank us preseason

Lewis has BSU playing with an edge and a physicality that pretty impressive. They are up 68-62 with a minute to go. This is the second game in a row I have watched BSU. Last game they won with offense while scoring 90 points. Today it is with defense and just physical play
7th straight win and 2-0 in the MAC

Last night looked like the Race from most of last year. Last night probably was going to be his best game of the year. If he didn't get injured I feel last night would have been a win.
When he hit that step back fadeaway I thought we were going to win by 20 with Race going for 18-22pts

Beard will be coaching next year somewhere at a big school. Someone will look at the information, say we think this was an honest mistake and we believe in second chances.....which is code for we want to win.
Hear me out

The difference between Fran and the coaches I mentioned is that Fran acts like that the whole game where the others waited for certain times to act like that.
And those coaches have E8, FF and in 2 of those cases a Ntl title. Has Fran even reached the S16?

He’s one of the best in the country. With that said, it almost seems it’s Michael Lewis to lose at this point.
10-4 so far.

How soon would we hear more information about Races injury?

we beat Rutgers with JHS ... he filled it up last night.
We haven’t had our full starters in any of our B1G games…what if we had X and Race last night? JHS at Rutgers?
Man we’re snakebitten team

Some of you guys who rewatch the game have more patience than me. I’d rather hear about my parents sex lives than rewatch that game🤮

Probably the guy they should go after. Though he wants his son to take over for him at Houston which might complicate it.
Might add Jerome Tang to that list.
Or Jerome Sunny D.

Let's face it, Purdue is the best program in the state and has by far the best coach in the state. I wish he was coaching Indiana. Quite frankly Indiana football and basketball suck. I am not and never have been a Woodson or a Tom Allen fan. I can't wait till they are both gone so Indiana can start rebuild with a new coach. Shake my head at their program!
I hate how likeable Matt Painter is
