Non IU writer complaining about the officiating disparity with Edy. Edy continues to get away with obvious fouls I think the writer is spot on with “However, officials are often confused by how to call him because he is so big.”

Geez every game mens or women’s turning into blowouts. Think I’ll find something better to do with my time.

Utah St in early foul trouble, unfortunately because I was looking forward to how their two bigs pick and roll worked against Edy and company.🤷♂️

Was looking at the women's bracket. Louisville was the only higher seed to lose in the Round of 64.

Regarding May though. First thing I'd do is meet with the academic folks. See Terrance Shannon Jr situation.
Regarding IU, first thing I’d do is meet with the Compliance folks. See Coach Kelvin Sampson.🤷♂️

This is correct and Purdue had to go through some kind of US Immigration employment loophole to get Edey his NIL.
Edey is on an F-1 Student Visa and the restrictions are pretty dumb. Basically US immigration law makes it very hard to pay foreign players NIL. Far beyond Zach Edey this will prevent many international players from earning NIL money and or equivalent money compared to their American teammates and diminishes the likelihood of another Edey
"The F-1 Visa (Academic Student) allows you to enter the United States as a full-time student at an accredited college, university, seminary, conservatory, academic high school, elementary school, or other academic institution or in a language training program. You must be enrolled in a program or course of study that culminates in a degree, diploma, or certificate and your school must be authorized by the U.S. government to accept international students.
Employment
F-1 students may not work off-campus during the first academic year, but may accept on-campus employment subject to certain conditions and restrictions. After the first academic year, F-1 students may engage in three types of off-campus employment:
Curricular Practical Training (CPT)
Optional Practical Training (OPT) (pre-completion or post-completion)
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Optional Practical Training Extension (OPT)
F-1 students may also be eligible to work off-campus on a case-by-case basis as a result of special situations such as severe economic hardship or special student relief."
Basically, international players have no incentive to come to the US and play basketball if their intent is to earn NIL and make it to the NBA.
Honest question, what other countries have the equivalent of NIL opportunities?

Official will give this to FAU

Inadvertent whistle costs Northwestern a possession and the chance to tie?
Sure hope this officiating crew is done for the season!!

Could very well cost Northwestern the game
Pretty shaky officiating to say the least!

So the officials take away a 5-4 break then give FAU a Flagrant one opportunity with the ball and then let Goldin get away with traveling?WTF

This is some ugly stuff between FAU and Northwestern.
Understatement!

So with Cal getting embarrassed in the Tourney once again will he take his ball and refuse to play tournament games anyplace other than Rupp?

In the last 5 years Woodson has more tournament wins than Calislimy

After this past season, Cupps could be labeled a “good/average” bench pg.
We supposedly have 4, do we really need another?

But, I would say that this anything particular to IU fans and it is part of human nature. In the “real world” I have seen the same concept repeatedly. Once an employer loses confidence in an employee it’s like they can’t do anything right or need severe micromanagement.
That kind of attitude has ruined a many good thing! Take this board for instance, it seems about 2/3rds of the board have lost confidence in being able interact without the never ending smearing going on! The only ones left are the smear Queens and those who will support IU no matter how bad it gets.
