  1. "And sadly even with this list I have never eaten at any of the resteraunt' s on ANY of these lists." I think I should clarify though I have never eaten at any of the resteraunt s on any of these lists, it's not like I've NOT eaten at some great places! There's a Sushi place in the city where I work I've eaten at that is known for Marvel Actor's frequenting as the Pinewood Studios are only 11 miles away. Have to say the best Sushi I have ever had and it's not even close! I've had Sturgeon at a resteraunt in Santa Monica! One of my most memorable, enjoyable and epic meals was at an open air thatched roof resteraunt in Thailand!
  2. And sadly even with this list I have never eaten at any of the resteraunt' s on ANY of these lists. Was supposed to go with some of the team at work to one of Georgia's Waffle House's a month ago, but it was closed for remodeling!😓 And what was with that Wisconsin Illinois game?
  3. OK mile, maybe you will agree with this Colorado choice.😀 I have my doubts though as it is a bit different from all of the other states. 4. Remember the criteria is Most Famous and most likely from the perception of someone not from the area!! Like I said seems subjective?
  5. Now the most "Famous" resteraunt in each State. This list seems to be rather subjective as the criteria for being on the list seems to change. Is it because of the A-listers, because it is associated with a movie, frequented by traveling Food Shows, because it's unchanged for several decades? Anyway, enjoy! https://www.msn.com/en-us/foodanddrink/restaurantsandnews/the-most-famous-restaurant-in-every-state/ss-AAIbaj5?ocid=spartandhp#image=1
  6. When the Marion Berries are in season!😁 How about the Kansas "Sour Cream and Raisin Pie"? They must have an aged population that needs the "movement" enhancement!
  7. And now the most Iconic food from every state, I actually think they did a pretty good job with this list. https://www.msn.com/en-us/foodanddrink/foodnews/the-most-iconic-food-in-every-state/ss-BBVFkmO?ocid=spartandhp
  8. Who said Miners didn't take strippers into the mine? 😛
  9. While I understand the reasons, I've met several people from different parts of the former Soviet Union that HATE Russia! Again, I understand their reason! That being said, my experience on a personal level, the Russian people are worthy of our friendship! Wouldn't that change the world!!
  10. Ate hundreds of breakfasts in Russia, your description is not that far off! Vodka, however has never been on the morning menu!! Typically, a selection of cold cuts, cheese and bread or on a higher scale breakfast Blini cold cuts, cheese and caviar! Russians do on the norm live a life much LESS than the typical American!
  11. Even the Russians enjoy their breakfast without vodka! They do tend to put their cold cuts and cheese on their Blini!! Maybe, it is their hair of the dog!!
  12. You got it, other than the add ins, not much to get excited about!
  13. Even I had to look that one up! Well played!! But do you even know what Blini are? 😄 Do you know that while Blini is considered somewhat of a deli case in Russia, it is also a reasonable breakfast in Russia as long as you leave out the expensive caviar? Flying fish eggs is the usual, not the outrageously expensive black caviar!
  14. So the family explored Acadia National Park this summer, and one of the MUST DO things to do, was have a Popover at the Jordan Pond House resteraunt! Have to say it was not a disappointment!!!!!! Although, I was surprised they served strawberry jam, when everything about Maine is blueberry! You need to try the blueberry everything in Maine! Just as important as trying Lobsta Rolls In BAH HAbR Maine! I hope I got the Maine accent right!
  15. People should also explore Pasties, an Upper Peninsula food of Michigan! Miners would take them into the mines, and they would still be warm when breakfast came. Lot's of different recipes!!
  16. From the sounds of it, I like the Texas version better Also sounds like a winner for breakfast.
  17. Who doesn't like leftover pizza? 😋 However nontraditional, I'm going with some International flair, Lefse with fresh berry's from Scandinavia and Blini with meats and Caviar in Russsia!
  18. Double teaser, my answer, won an NCAA championship, an Olympic Gold Medal and an NBA championship! And that is putting it mildly!
  19. Maybe the GOAT of Indiana HS basketball, which is arguable, ( I might vote for Jr Bridgeman! or Oscar) but I'm talking about college, Olympics and NBA! This is after all an NBA thread!😄
  20. Teaser! My answer won an Olympic Gold Metal!
  21. Kind of a side light in the offseason, but my ever churning mind, thinking about the Memphis #1 recruiting class lead me to how much I loved watching Penny and others play. Started thinking about who was the GOAT in basketball! I quickly came up with my answer! Who is your pick? Magic, one of my favorites! Jordan, Kareem, LeBron? I'm going to guess your answer is wrong!!!
  22. And sadly😥 I have still never visited any of the resteraunt's on any of these lists. I guess that's what I get for living rural all my life!
  23. So they can give out participation awards. 😖
  24. For all the Analytics, " Statistics are like a girl in a bikini, they show a lot, but not everything" 😛 From my antique statistics book.
