Sorry the papers I’ve read aren’t much better than TV or internet news. Looking at the local small city paper right now and the only stories on the front page are about a family “still seeking justice “ for the murder of a daughter 10 years ago. “1 dead in New Years fire” and “11 new state laws going into effect “ ?

Whatever happened to the local newspaper that always had a picture of a park or kids playing or someone getting an award on the front page? A paper that reported news instead of opinions!

Unlike our opponents that bring their A game against IU, the refs seem to bring their D game against IU!

Something not mentioned yet, but I think mandatory film review with oversight would go a long ways. Coaches and players have to do it, why not officials?

Building on this, a guy I let stay in my spare bedroom for three years used ER as his primary care. I know how many phone calls I received from debt collectors during and after he moved out, he never paid a cent of his hospital bills.

Along with the lack of respect for people in not using earbuds, just yesterday coming out of the grocery store. That zone in front where traffic is supposed to stop for pedestrians. A woman stopped right in the middle to stare at her phone. Oblivious to the truck that tooted the horn. I’m not sure she completely understood what she was doing when another woman rolled down her window and started yelling at the top of her lungs!

Can't wait for @Stlboiler23and @Purdue7 and @BruceDouglasto come over here to tell us the only reason IU wins is because of McCafferty inspite of X being out. I hesitate to say it because they have brought some good intelligent conversation to the board, but it's time for their disrespect of this board to end!!

You just made me reminisce, so I’m going to go a bit of a different direction. Growing up in the region with Chicago TV I had the privilege of seeing Gayle Sayers live. The Black Hawks with Stan Mikita, and Mr Cub! However the direction I’m going is not wishing for sports championships, but what ones you have enjoyed and where do you rank them? For me? The 1985 Chicago Bears with my all time favorite football player Sweetness! The 87 Indiana Hoosiers basketball team finishing with the Smart shot! (76 was right up there but not with the dramatics) The 1984 Detroit Tigers World Series champions! Living in Michigan at the time I was first attracted to the team because they had my all time favorite White Sox player on the team, Chet Lemon.

I haven’t been reading the details on this because most of what we see is sensationalized and because the investigation is rightfully being kept! What are you seeing about the connection? I haven’t seen anything?

No panic attacks, but I’ve learned after going to ER a couple times over the decades that a particular pain I get in my chest is just gas! Switched from a prescribed double dose of Omeprazole a few years ago because it seemed to have lost its effectiveness on me. I’m now on prescription Pantoprazole. Talk to your doctor!

1) IU basketball 2) ND football 3) the US men’s and/or women’s Sabre team’s winning team Olympic Gold!
