I’m thinking it’s like Bill Murray in the Caddyshack pool! Everyone thinks they no what it is but they’re afraid to touch it!

Remember when I was in military aerospace, they had an employee relations event and brought in a Navy pilot and an Air Force pilot to talk. The Air Force pilot talked about how they stripped down an F15, chained it to the ground and kicked on the afterburners. Said it was airborne in about 500 feet and set all of the time to altitude records! The plane actually left atmosphere and the pilot earned his Astronaut wings. I think if they wanted they could put a few rounds through the balloon and bring it down nice and slow! Of course the Navy pilot came in after and said 500 feet? I wish I had 500 feet to take off!!

They need to get it down and find out what instrumentation is on it. Found a weather balloon one time. I didn’t open it up but sent it back through the mail per instructions. The box only weighed a few ounces so there wasn’t much to it. Appeared to have an antenna and got to believe it was reading temperature, pressure and location. If I remember correctly it had launched from Arkansas when a storm was blowing through the South East. I found it in Georgia.

My experiences with Chinese in China is they are good hard working people. Unfortunately, they believe that everything belongs to the People (government). So no wonder they don’t believe in intellectual property. Just like the Russian (and American) governments are ruining any possibility of getting along. Even more so the Chinese government! They totally believe in communism and the only way for that to ultimately work is for them to control everything!

Was at my son’s while some contractors were installing countertops in his basement bar area. Sitting on the porch his cat decided to do her duty about 10 feet in front of me. Good thing they hadn’t picked the top up already, because they probably would’ve dropped it laughing when I ran off yelling at the cat”what did you have for breakfast, Mexican?”

I forget which game it was but just the other night they called a 3 second. The announcer commented that was so rare it was like winning the lottery. Or something like that.

I grew up in the Region and the only team I could watch on a regular basis back then was DePaul. Knew very little about IU or Purdah until I got to college and we were in the Ft Wayne viewing area.

Seriously praying for you brother! However know this, if things go seriously wonky your mind will adapt! Like I said I have a seriously lazy eye. Had it all my life. If my mind didn’t choose to ignore my right eye, I would have had double vision my whole life. Which means my whole life has been in 2D. My brain manages 3D based on relativity so to speak. A brain learned ability. Hasn’t stopped me, I think in actuality during my career it helped me. Looking at CAD files on the computer screen, everyone else was seeing 2D. I was seeing 3D like my brain had taught me!

When I was in it they could never validate software. So everything was manual!
