Partially true but not entirely. He was also was in the hospital for heart issues and kidneys were shutting down before the virus. They thought they were going to lose him before the virus ever got to him. Sean came home weeks ago from playing professionally over seas. John was a great guy and I loved golfing with him and being his student. They live in our neighborhood and was always nice to see him when he would go for walks. He will be missed.

No jump shot yet, and no right hand yet. Honestly unless he improves both of those dramatically he will be here after next year too. Not a dis on the kid at all, just going by what I saw this year. Hopefully he gets both of those and gets drafted next year.

No doubt he’s talented, never said he wasn’t. Vic is quicker Ger is bigger. Geronimo is a better shooter to date. Geronimos competition I know nothing about, is it high level?

People need to lower there expectations on this kid in the short term. He’s very raw, he’s an athlete playing basketball at this point. (There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.) He does however have some things you can’t teach, High Motor, Crazy length, and athleticism. I don’t expect him to contribute much next year, hopefully I’ll be wrong. I think he will be very good but it will take sometime. Kind of looking forward to see how this staff can develop him.

Great article. Only thing I disagree with is South saying they’re our rivals. It’s a in county game sure but Batesville is our only true rival and North is Souths only true rival. Most Greensburg fans cheer for North and South but most wont cheer for Batesville even if they made the state finals, I would though. You still looking like Dallas Clark these days??

Tacko won’t make it down the court to block shots in the league

Is/was Haas not as good as Tacko Fall? If Haas would’ve developed an outside shot at all he’d be in the league, no question about it. I understand Tacko is 7-5 but Haas was 7-2-7-3 with a much stronger frame.

NBA, that’s what the kids want. (Most anyway) Again not saying he’s a bad coach at all, actually think he’s damn good. Just saying he develops bigs and I don’t see it. I’ll agree he gets guys who fit his system, although I don’t think Swanigan really did but you have to take a guy like that.

Matt Painter DOES NOT develop big man, he’s a good coach but he’s not a big man developer whatsoever. That is one of the craziest narratives that lives in the basketball world. Crean was better than Painter at that and the NBA rosters are proof

I love Sabonis but of the 2 you’d have to trade him. Turners rim protection is second to none. I still think Turner has a higher ceiling that we won’t see until he’s under a different head coach.

Couldn’t complain with any of those 3 but I’d say Giannis is pretty far in front. PG will have a hard time winning it because most don’t think he’s even the best player on his team.
