Moving this to its own thread: The amount of injuries this team has every damn game has been absurd and , makes me wonder if we need to fire the strength/training staff. I mean I’m not sure what our coach can do at this point. it’s not like we are Alabama yet where we have an endless supply of 5 star players to waiting to play on the bench, I mean out top 2 QB's have are injured, which caused him to play Our Red Shirt QB who shouldn't even be playing this year.. . I mean how many players have gotten injured so far this season and are out long term. Like 12? Seems like every game we have 4 players that get injured. and I don't know how you can expect a third string/ Red shirt QB to put up amazing numbers when our offensive line is not only injured, but our Playmakers are as well...

I mean what other team has had to resort to using their third string QB due to the amount of injures their team has had? I don’t even think an NFL team could win if they had to play a third string QB for most of the season.

Not sure what CTA can do when you are down your top two QB’s and need to use your 3rd string QB. And that’s not even getting to the amount of injures this team has had this season on both sides of the ball.

Exactly. Which is why I can’t really fault any of the coaches. I mean, off the top our top 2 QB’s are injured so we are now on our third string. And that’s not even getting to any other position that has been disseminated by injures.

Indiana running back Sampson James has entered the transfer portal, announced on Wednesday. James had rushed for 371 yards and three touchdowns in 19 games with Indiana over his career. James was a former 4-star running back. The IU Board of Trustees authorized four trustees to begin negotiations for a contract with a final candidate. The candidate has not yet been named. The Board of Trustees said it anticipates announcing the new president this month, who will take over for outgoing President Michael McRobbie on July 1. The board has been searching for a replacement for President McRobbie since he announced his retirement in August 2020.
