My 24 year old daughter worked as a nurse at Riley oncology. She left in August and took same position at another hospital. Prior to testing positive for Covid in November had perfect bill of health. Thursday she was rushed to the ER at the hospital she works at thinking she was having a heart attack.  She had a pulmonary embolism and was put on blood thinners to get rid of it. Hematology said some very abnormal issues in her blood work.  She is.undergoing further testing.  The only only thing that changed in her life from her complete physical in August to now is Covid

That’s awful. I’ll be praying for you sir.

What I found funny was a few weeks ago and during an interview with Mike Decoursey.  He was trying to get Decoursey to talk bad about Archie but he didn't agree with Coyle and Coyle seemed butt hurt afterwards.

If you can listen to it via podcast I think last week when he has Matt Taylor from the colts on at the beginning of the show he didn’t realize they were live or something he said he hated covering this team or something like that because Archie has no f’n personality.

You should have heard Jim Coyle who interviewed CJ , on his show ripping into Archie and calling him inept.  He said we will never be good ad long as Archie is the coach.  If I was the AD and heard these comments I would not give him press credentials any longer.  He was telling and screaming whole show and had to turn it off.

I heard that too. I used to really really enjoy that show but it has turned into a daily bash Archie show which is fine, if that’s the way you feel. That rant he went on that you’re talking about I just couldn’t listen anymore and I haven’t since.

I think the fear of not taking the best pro ready college qb since Luck would weigh on Jacksonville forever. That and his obvious talent you just can't pass up. Not taking anything away from Watson who I love...but no GM wants to be the next you took Ryan Leaf? Or in another sport...you took Sam Bowie over Jordan?

I think we undervalue that element of the equation sometimes.

Are we sure urban even wants Lawrence? Now that fields declared would he take a chance on fields?

Honest question because I'm curious.. if someone had Covid let's say 2 weeks ago... is there any need for them to wear a mask within that 90 day window? Basically.. can someone thats had Covid, pass on Covid within the next 90 days after having it?

I just had it.. was only achy for 2 days. Never had a fever, only thing that sucked was my loss of taste and smell for about 5-6 days. That was weird. My fiancé has slept in the same bed, done everything with me, everyday as we normally would. (Obviously I wasn't in public). She's shown zero symptoms. My last day for being contagious was Saturday.

That’s probably a really hard question to answer if we are going to be honest and objective about it because no one really knows. I think really the only thing that happens when you get Covid is you have the antibodies for a few months so you are immune, if you want to call it, that for a while before you could potentially get it again. I don’t know that it would 100% prevent you from spreading it but the risk is probably minimal.

I was reading that UF player who collapsed tested positive for covid-19 in the summer.  We all know this can lead to mycocarditis which can be a fatal.  If we find out that is what caused him to collapse then sports might be in danger to shutting down.  That is just my opinion but could see.people not wanting to take anymore chances with these kids health.

Maybe but didn’t our league put in all kinds of rules and test players have to go thru with football if they got COVID before they go back on the field? If they use those same guidelines we might be okay.

Anyone know about the fans situation for IHSAA basketball? Was planning to try and watch Braden as much as I could this season, but COVID...

I found this on ihsaa.org, but wasn't able to find anything specific to Westfield HS. Thought I'd see if anyone on HSN knew more.

Spectator Seating (Updated 10/19/20) Q. Will spectators be allowed to attend sporting events? (Spectators should always observe social distancing and mask/face covering requirements) A. Yes, but it will be at the discretion of the host school with guidance from local health officials and in accordance with the governor’s stage 5. Organizers of events with more than 500 people in attendance will be required to submit a plan to the local health department that outlines measures to mitigate COVID-19.

Down here in Evansville it’s 2 fans per student athlete is all that will be allowed.

I think the most overlooked thing about Chiefs last night running the ball as much as they did is aren't they down like 3 starters on Offensive Line? Injuries and opt outs? Speaking of opt outs...can guys opt back in?

No. The deadline already passed for them to change their mind.

NFL related so I'll ask this here. Does anyone know if you can buy single NFL games for desktop or laptop? Bears and Colts are both on Fox this Sunday (as of this post) at same time. I was wanting to watching Colts on TV but get Bears on my computer. Didn't want to go out to a bar during these times to watch game so trying to see if there is a streaming service for individual games?

You could probably try the fox sports app maybe? See if it will let you pick what game you want on the app.

Seriously, there are thousands of people who work in Chicago that live in Indiana.  How's that going to work.

I actually have first hand knowledge of this. Way back when quarantine was really stringent and first started I live in a different state but work in Indiana. My employer gave me a certified notarized letter deeming me “essential” that I had to keep in my car at all times in case I was pulled over while entering or exiting the state.

Siri is so dumb. And I don't know how or if they can work with a Pixel/Google assistant.

I give way too much money to Apple but they are like a wormhole that suck you in. We were holding out to get my son who is in 6th grade a phone for as long as possible, but now he needs to communicate with us after cross-country practice so we know where and when to pick him up. My wife was not in favor of my idea: having him find a payphone, call us collect, and when the name prompt pops up just quickly say "come pick me up behind the school!" haha.

BUT Verizon has a deal going on that we can add another line for $10/month and get a free iphone SE. That is hard to pass up, but it's the principle, damn it!!!!

OMG I use to do that with my mom after practice before I got my cell phone lol.
