Post game presser: Woodson confirmed Lander is injured/out, and talked about needing him to play if Rob is out. I guess if Lander can get healthy enough that he’s gonna play the backup pg minutes.

So is XJ playing 40 minutes a game going forward?

If not for Rob getting hurt I would say that was a perfect half. Still mistakes and missed fts and stuff but being up 29 at half against a big ten team (that we lost to) is huge.

That’s amazing considering TJD wasn’t much of a shot blocker his last 2 years.

Kopp did a good job on defense in the Purdue game. He held Sasha to one 3 on a bad percentage. He’s obviously not perfect but it’s hard to expect a ton more out of your 5th starter. He’s been fine.

I really hope Lander can become a contributor here before he graduates. I think his talent is exactly what we need and could be really good if he can become even a passable defender. Plus it seems like he has a great attitude all things considered. Easy kid to root for.

I don’t remember seeing a game with so many missed opportunities. If we played an average game we could easily be winning. Just not gonna happen unfortunately.

Hangover game. It happens. Let’s see if this team shows some fight to get back into it.

Can’t miss layups that lead to a fast break. Horrible for momentum.

Some missed opportunities and chances to pull it closer, but being an 8 point game is honestly remarkable right now. Plenty of chances to close the gap even more in the 2nd half.

What are the officials looking at here? Just seems like a normal foul on the dunk attempt.

That was a huge 3 by Kopp and a big steal and basket by TJD. Absolutely huge stretch there.
