  1. They've also spent hundreds of hours in practice. Sorry, just don't buy the narrative that these two needed more time. They were in the program for 2 years. We're more talented now because they are gone.
  2. Banks and Gunn were not serviceable players at this level. Recruitment rankings are wrong all the time. Look where each of them ended up...one went to arguably the worst P5 school and the other is at a non power 5 school. They were not good. End of a 2 year story.
  3. A good player who is confident in his skills will want to play with other good players.
  4. You’re going to probably have a mystery guy as well. Usually happens.
  5. I don’t think anyone thought it would be easy. People want playing time. I don’t think you have to be a college coach to know that. Everyone is dealing with the same thing.
  6. If we add Carlyle to the group we should be top 20, competing for a conference title and at least a 2nd weekend team. This is Woodson's 4th year and he would tell you this needs to be a 2nd weekend team. One thing we still need is a bona-fide shooter, I'm optimistic we land one.
  7. I agree roles change year to year but if Anthony Leal’s role changes to where he’s putting up an average of 4x the amount of shots he did on average last year then he either made an ungodly type of leap in skill or we didn’t address our needs. It’s a moot point anyway because more than likely, Leal won’t be seeing huge minutes and we will fill our backup guard spot with someone better.
  8. Yes…the Miller Kopp stand in the corner role. Thats a low volume shooting role.
  9. Leal’s not a high volume shooter, nor is he supposed to be…that’s not his role. Leal should not be playing significant minutes next year. If he is, then we didn’t address the needs like we hoped.
  10. Differing opinions but I think if Leal is playing 15mpg then we didn’t address our shooting needs. Regardless, I think Woodson addresses the issue.
