I’m hoping Sparks plays no more than 10-12 minutes tonight. Give him the first few minutes each half and that’s it.

Or he’ll go pro anyway and go in the G league or overseas.

One (albeit small) positive of this season bottoming out is it makes it harder for anyone to have excuses or claim we were “one bounce away” or anything like that. I’ll never root for losses but hopefully the coaching staff recognizes that big changes are needed if they want to have a successful season next year.

We also just aren’t that good. This team has some good players that don’t fit well together and the guards are too inconsistent.

I’m curious how much IU basketball has affected my life span. This game probably knocked off 3 months or so.

Honesty really proud of this team’s fight this half. Easy to give up down 20+ at halftime.

This reffing is an absolute joke. Edey gets away with murder and we can’t defend without getting a foul called on us.

Man, I was just thinking the same thing. Also, didn’t realize XJ was the 4th oldest player in college basketball. Makes his antics last game that much worse.

In 2016 I remember watching IU’s sweet sixteen game against UNC and being incredibly frustrated at what I was watching. I was 22. Little did I know that would be the last sweet sixteen before turning 30. This program is running out of chances to return to glory. Really disappointing to watch these types of games and see highly-ranked players play like a terrible team.
