Last series we were at 2nd and 1. Couldn't get a yard on 3 plays. Damning indictment of play calling and play execution. Nobody is without fault offensively.
1st half is this season in microcosm. We could easily be up 2 TDs. Instead it's basically a tie game due to turnovers, inability to finish plays/possessions that are there for the taking.
Our lead doesn't feel commensurate with how much it feels like we've outplayed them. I supposed 3 INTs and inability to contain the QB scrambles will do that to you?
The INT before this one was a fluke, but the others - and additional very close to INT throws - have added up to too many questionable throws by Sorsby this half.
No doubt. We've had numerous missed sacks on top of the open field misses. But our O is building momentum while our D looks more capable of getting at least occasional stops.
