Last series we were at 2nd and 1. Couldn't get a yard on 3 plays. Damning indictment of play calling and play execution. Nobody is without fault offensively.

Was there any other play besides Card running? We haven't been able to get him down all afternoon.

If I'm Purdue, I'm doing nothing but throw/Card scramble/runs.

This is pitiful. But at least they should score quickly and we'll get another chance on offense I guess.

Even the announcers are questioning the lack of aggression on 3rd and 4. Let's see if it comes back to bite us in the ass yet again.

Typical overly conservative play calling on 3rd and medium while in FG range.

We are literally in position to make multiple, drive-killing stops on a single play, but not one single defender executes a tackle. 

How in the hell can one of those guys not make the sack there?

Most of Card's big scramble/runs have been total wastes of strong coverage down field. 

How many guys missed tackles on Card on that scramble/run?

Good for Lucas! Feel like it's been a disappointing/frustrating year for him.

1st half is this season in microcosm. We could easily be up 2 TDs. Instead it's basically a tie game due to turnovers, inability to finish plays/possessions that are there for the taking.

Our lead doesn't feel commensurate with how much it feels like we've outplayed them. I supposed 3 INTs and inability to contain the QB scrambles will do that to you?

The INT before this one was a fluke, but the others - and additional very close to INT throws - have added up to too many questionable throws by Sorsby this half.

Looked like Coby should have caught it, but then the interception was very flukey.

No doubt. We've had numerous missed sacks on top of the open field misses. But our O is building momentum while our D looks more capable of getting at least occasional stops.
