I pushed my wife to get tickets to Maui and she said no. In hindsight glad we didn’t but I agree would love to go down there and see IU some day.

This was the first year in a long time we didn’t go down there. We saw IU play FGCU in softball last year. Also my sister in law had her wedding in ft Myers. There was a nice tap house close to the beach. Also lover getting a boat in the bay and seeing all the dolphins. It’s really a great area kudos to you for moving down there.

Nice my in laws are in Estero. My daughter almost went to FGCU with them being right there.

I will be the first in line to give him kudos. I have been critocal of him on a few things but this was clearly a home run after Wilson.

I agree I have been thinking this for weeks but didn’t want to jinx it. Not only has the coaching staff and team been amazing but clearly they have been doing things right and made sure they don’t hurt the season with infections. Kudos to the team on all fronts

Amazing season and so proud of our Hoosiers! I have to say F ESPN as IU beats another top 20 team and we get no pub. Not a headline or even a listed score on the page. I hope we these players keep shocking the world and beat Purdue and win a big bowl against a big opponent and force the nation to realize IU football is here and now a major player!

While I understand your points it’s not just about local market, heck I would say that’s small potatoes. These players will make tons of cash off Instagram and Twitter posts. The way IU has it setup with this company they literally see how much money they will make based on the media platform they post on which is based off followers and over social media score. The UK players will make gobs of cash off things like this.

I will be really interested to see what a star player at IU will make on average per year/month when NIL starts and how that compares to other top programs across the country and in the BIG. It will be hard to get top dollar like some players at Duke or Kentucky but it will be important to show you can come to IU and make top money in the BIG and that multiple opportunities will be out there to do so. While I get we all don’t want someone that’s about me and making money these young men will have various reasons from brand building to literally needing to support their family that revenue generation will be key. Playing solidly this year will tie directly into potential income the next year when this starts. I think this will be a huge factor towards recruiting in the future.

I have not been there this year for obvious reasons but last couple years it was full of young millennials behind the bar and customer wise.

I don’t think in the late 90’s the majority of the gen X went to the Vid, can’t say that’s the same now for gen Z. We went there because it wasn’t frequented by gen X and we didn’t want to deal with Kilroys but also didn’t want to go somewhere like the office lounge. It skewed older back then but sure doesn’t feel that way now.

As someone that went to IU and still lives in Btown the video saloon is a completely different place. When I was undergrad we would go there to not hit the college bar scene and relax. Seems when I have gone there over the last few years at the request of some younger friends or children of neighbors it seems to be a haven for millennials. Definitely wasn’t the Vid I remember.

Coach Knight out at BJ’s brew house in Bloomington tonight. Holly Rowe from ESPN is with him as well which I find interesting.

I don’t think he plays at the IU level but I have enjoyed over the last few years watching Trevor Taylor at Edgewood right here in Monroe county.

Lebron did an Instagram post yesterday and did an @ to Kyrie. It was a song in the video and it was clearly Lebron making it clear he was good to get back to playing with Kyrie. As someone posted above I feel like the next CBA the NBA needs to figure out a way to stop this. Not sure exactly what they do and It’s going to be hard but these small market teams and fans deserve better than to be treated like this.

I don’t think it’s been expressly pointed out in what I have read here but due to the Kyrie trade Boston can’t do anything until July 1st. I think they have the most to offer but question is is Davis willing to wait and go to Boston? If AD wants to to Pelicans a solid he keeps it quiet and allows his soon to be former team enough leverage to get all the assets they can. If I was LA I throw all I can at them now and get AD before Boston as they have the advantage now. This young kids are not earth shattering. Vets will sign there for the minimum much like GS. These next few days will be interesting.

Man sounds like it’s bad. Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery and the hope this doesn’t completely derail his career. Wonder if this puts more pressure on Pacers staff to go out and get Connelly.
