There is stuff i've seen and heard first hand about these 2 returning soon to be 5th year seniors, they arent role models by any means. I wont write it here for the mods sake but i'll tell some in DM'S. Thats what TRUE FANS do. Relax, right, i'll get right on that.
My kid that’s a freshman has a friend pledging at a frat where they made him drink a beer from his ass this year. I can only imagine what Leal and Galloway are doing in their spare time.

Is he out for the BTT?
If it’s bad news I would expect so

I will say small sample size but from what I have seen players are treated pretty well around town.
I see them constantly and it’s nothing but love.
Saw Trace and Race last summer post draft at Target and Race driving the old man cart because he was hurt. I showed them love and appreciation post graduation and everyone else was as well.
I once also saw Crean and family at Target(don’t hate me I love Target) and said hello and he actually engaged with me. Talked about how much I loved Haunted Hall of hoops for my kids.
Also besides the crazies most people don’t have the balls to speak bad to their faces IMO.

This true fan and hyping up Mike is all part of the plan for when he retires due to health reasons or needing more time for cigars and wine. You will all see. Al part of the grand plan to bring us back to glory….in an alternate universe.

Don't know. It's being promoted on the Star's Twitter account, so I assumed some compensation. If so, bully for him on making a quick easy buck.

All I learned from that article is they'll let anyone write for the Indy Star these days. Time for us to stop wasting our time here for free. We could get paid for the same effort and quality of work by a legitimate publication!
It’s an opinion article so it’s not a writer for the Star. Unless their writers contributed to opinion articles?

definitely glad the players aren't against him and giving up. doesn't change my mind even a little bit that Woodson needs to go now. love that we fell into the 6th seed in this bad conference and feel like we have the talent to win a couple. i love watching IU bball, so would actually rather see us play in the NIT than nothing.
Actions speak louder than words, let’s see who stays and who goes. But Leal and Gallo staying is a nice start.

Not really sure how much more evidence people need to not believe the BS rumors on this site, other sites, and various places across the internet.
Wait are you telling me this internet Nigerian Prince isn’t really gonna give me money after I help him out with my money?

I mean, I hope those two got paid for signing up for this another year.
I was thinking the same. They got some cash to stay another year for sure.

I still am in favor of a new arena where all of your seats have good views and sightlines. If you aren't winning most people won't want to sit in the balcony or right under it.
This was one of their biggest mistakes. The Master plan from last decade had a new stadium south of AH in the parking lot. While the new South entrance is nice including the bathrooms the rest is still a dump. The bathrooms outside my section are so bad. Why have they not put see through glass at the lowest part of the red seats? No cup holders or though I feel the seat cushioning is better. And if you really look during games, in particular where I sit close to the wall it’s falling apart. No wonder we have ceiling parts falling multiple times, kinda scary.

For the fans who have season tickets on here and are going to give up on team next year and not go to games. please message me. Will gladly take those off your hands next fall. Thanks!
Man the Seat Geek prices tanked for the last 4-5 games. I might have to sell them to you just to break even 😂.
Note I would go to more games this year but am currently immune compromised and don’t feel like wearing a mask for the entire game sometimes

Agree to disagree. Completely fine.
If that is the reputation, then shame on IU and the IU media for letting that be the narrative as opposed to all of the numerous things (and it's a long list) that make the IU fan base one of the best in the country.
I disagree as well. I have many contacts in business and family across the country and visit places with my IU gear on. No one has ever said anything about IU fans. If anything they feel sad for us based off our history. Most of the fans aren’t on the internet or message boards. It’s a few bad eggs and most people have no idea they exist.

"Lost without Holmes" Is a bad sign.
Shes not here next season.
Yeah I have been wondering that for next year. Garzon and Parrish will need to step up, but I think Chloe needs to be that voice and physical leader. Moren has also done a great job with the portal and hopefully that continues.

I'm sure some students will try to smuggle in "Please Retire, Coach Woodson!" signs to the game Sunday.
So funny you say this I was considering doing this myself 😂

It's game day! Big Ten Tournament starts tonight against Michigan, around 9:00 PM EST.
No official word on the status of Mack or Meister, but Lilly was at least walking unassisted to the plane in a video posted yesterday. Wouldn't be surprised if Mack gets some load management to prep for the NCAA Tournament.
I would sit Mack this game and I agree load management on Saturday and potentially Sunday. I would even be ok sitting her this weekend and focus on NCAA.

why no one convinced Bobby Capobianco to play defensive tackle or OT... is beyond me. When we wer SOs in HS Bobby was soooo big. Legit 6'8 240/250 at that point. His sport wasn't basketball.
His family was super nice as well. We talked to them during a Haunted Hall of hoops and his dad let me where is Bobby jersey for fan interaction they did as I came from work and didn’t have IU gear on.

Coach Mike Woodson Megathread
in General Basketball Discussion
Posted
He feed the beer to his ass. I have heard some crazy college kids do it to get drunk quicker but in this case he volunteered for his pledge class to do it.
