  1. Fitz was absolutely awesome yesterday. Hitting 17 greens on a Sunday at the US Open when the rough was as penal as it was. That was some big boy golf. He obviously loves Brookline.
  2. I've always had an affinity for Rory. The start to his professional career was probably as meteoric as anyone since Tiger and he has definitely taken his lumps between now and then. Always thought that he has handled himself so well on the course even when he is struggling. A former college teammate of mine was working down at Doral and had an interaction with Rory on the range. Told me he was the nicest and most humble guy you will ever meet on tour. Really rooting for him to have a good year.
  3. Haven't heard much on Little recently. Anyone feel that we still have a shot after the Fife news?
  4. Rabjohns gave a pretty interesting perspective on all of this if you go back about 30 minutes into JMV's show. Seems like Dane may have had it coming for a while.
  5. You can spin that narrative all you want but the fact is that both teams scored 28 points in the paint. Did Texas take some bad, poorly timed jumpers? Yes. But that doesn't mean that they weren't also getting in the paint. Marcus Carr was getting to any spot on the floor he wanted. 46-12 free throw discrepancy, regardless of the style of play, should never happen.
  6. Have to make those open looks if we want to win this one
  7. Why are we going back to the full lineup changes
  8. Is Geronimo still on the bench? Anyone know?
  9. Because of Wisconsin's meltdown yesterday, if we win on Thursday, we now play Illinois. Would have much preferred to play the Badgers. Especially if Davis isn't going to be able to go.
  10. Not particularly. Just wondering if it is actual game news or the usual Dakich self-promotion.
  11. Anyone have any idea what this might be about?
  12. Woody was at the BNL - Bloomington North game to watch JQ Roberts from North. Believe that was back in December.
  13. Agreed. Would bring an entirely new dimension to our offense if TJD was able to stretch the floor in that way. It would give our guards (particularly Lander) a ton space to penetrate the lane and kick for open shots.
  14. While I agree with you about needing to improve on his mobility, Garza was a more than capable 3pt shooter last year. Shooting something like 37% from beyond the arc coupled with being as dominant as he is down low makes for a tough player to guard.
