Sigh........

Not a good start to second half.

The more you stagger starters among the second unit, the less time you have your 5 best on the floor together. I like the what we did today. When it came time to have the starters back in, Rob, who was playing well, stayed on the floor and Parker, who had 2 fouls, was able to stay on the bench.

That's the type of basketball I enjoy watching. 20 minutes of steady, good play. Much more enjoyable than 5 minutes of frantically good play followed by 15 minutes of turnover infested drudgery.

Slight improvement over Ricky Jr., huh?

And, I think we can agree that what we saw in that month pretty much stunk from an offensive standpoint. Why would we intentionally go back to that when we have an alternative. And, that is one of Galloway and X are always on the floor. Sometimes, they both can be. But, that doesn't mean it's the start of the gfame.

If you start Trey, with X already starting, when you bring in the 2nd unit, you have ZERO ball movement for a 5-7 minute stretch. And, what happens if they both pick up 2 fouls in the first 5 minutes? Woody needs to plan lineups and rotations for the full 40 minutes, not just the first 5 minutes of the game.

Were they in the type of plane that could get over the weather? If it was icing high enough in the atmosphere, they may not have had the option of flying above or around it.

Was in Indy earlier this afternoon. There was some freezing rain from about 3-5 or so. Sidewalks and parking lots required treatment. If that was happening on the surface, it might even have been worse up in the air.

From a 'collegiate' standpoint, academic fraud is infinitely worse than strippers/prostitutes. Take the sleaze factor out of it and I can't see how anyone would think that stripper-gate provides a greater advantage to an athletic program than the widespread academic fraud that went on at UNC. UL getting their title stripped while UNC didn't even go on probation is hypocrisy at its worst by the NCAA. Add in the fact that Pitino is still allowed to coach in the NCAA and the NCAA vacating the championship is even more ridiculous. if you're going to pinish, punish, but make it consistent.

We have not won a road game. We keep hearing that. Teams ahead of us in the NET that have not won a road game. Gonzaga LSU Duke Purdue Kentucky Texas Tech Colorado State Scream that at your TV next time a commentator brings that up as an indictment against us.
