This. x50. Bates hits one of those 3's in last 2 minutes i'm a happy camper today. I liked that he took those shots at that point, I really thought both were going in. Yea, the OT sucked butt. I didn't think we'd miss Rob like we seem to. I bet the roster looks a lot different next year but not a total shakedown, I say Bates and geronimo break thru, and Galloways jumper continues to take form. Woody's old, like me, he's got no time to be fartin around with this thing. New recruits, the portal, we will upgrade I bet. I think my brain has moved on to next year already. I'm feeling much more optimistic at this point than I thought i would. Maybe it's the 2pm tequila shots, maybe it's that my MMadness Vegas trip is closer.

After watching the video over and over, I wish we could see what happens to Howard after the slap, it seems like he gets pushed back toward his bench, he goes down and a real frenzy is on for a moment. At first I thought it was with fans, but I now assume it was his own players or staff? I dunno, but he for sure lost touch with reality for a few seconds. In those same video reviews, I see Davidson during the melee circling the perimeter of the fight, doing nothing but hiding behind other guys. THEN, as seen in the second floor video, after Mich is basically in the tunnel, he can been seen hamming it up for the cameras like he's a tough guy. It's like watching that little cartoon dog that follows Butch. What a duuuush. Like my old asst bball coach used to say 'A guy you just wanna punch when he steps off the team bus' The next couple days should be interesting.

I blew my Achilles (while playing indoor volleyball), had been playing for about 30 minutes, and all I did was step forward quickly and POP. Sounded like rubber bands snapping, felt like someone kicked me in the calf, not major pain at first then a burning feel in my heel. And it didn't flex very well obviously. The image of RP walking then grabbing at his shoe brought me right back to it! ouch! I was convinced Wed that it had to be his achilles. I sure do hope it's less than that!

LOL..that's about the same time my Dad bought one, the Salesman at Sears told him Betamax was the future, VHS was going to die. $1000 beta machine. PPfffttt!! The nearest rental store was HH Greggs in Kokomo, 45 min away. Could rent 3 for a week, we thought it was amazing times. I wish a could remember the first movie we watched on it.

Random Butt memory..When I was a wee lad in north central Indiana, Grampa and I would drive by a mailbox with the name Butt on is which I remember thinking was hilarious every time. He told me (every time) that the Dad named his 3 sons Harry, Fuzzy, and Curly. We would laugh and laugh.. I can't remember what I ate yesterday, but funny how well I remember that.

I have to admit I did watch and enjoyed some sports I've not paid much attention to before. I normally watch BBall, and Womens Vball (Indoor and Out),,some mens vball if the US playing. This year I did like the short bursts of track I could watch on selected channels. Field events were OK. I got sucked into Handball, confusing at first, but with a couple minor tweeks this game could be really fun to watch and seems like something old dudes could play at the Y Wrestling - While I avoided it at all costs in high school, I enjoyed watching free style. The Steveson gold match was amazing. Plus there were 3 or 4 other great matches. The HvyWgt girl was awesome. I couldn't watch Grecko at all. Badminton - Holy crap, I never realized how much I suck at backyard badminton. It was incredibly fast, basically you have to be a 6 ft mongoose to play. Pretty much the same with Ping Pong, our current PP table will continue to be for folding laundry only. I didn't mind the format, I like having many channels to pick from. I also didn't look ahead to see who won whatever I was watching. I didn't watch much of the emotional hype stuff they show.

Maybe this has been said, but as far as other (non-revenue) sports, maybe those do not follow Football into a mega/super/all-universe conference. I would think it would make more sense for those to stay more region oriented. We are in the upside-down after all. Heck, even Basketball could form their own thing separate from Football. As long as Bball has March Madness they probably won't care too much about conf alignments, although the Conf Tournaments could generate some cash as well i suppose. This must be what Japan feels like when they hear Godilla in the distance? lol

So...How will Cal do in the BIG10 this year?

THAT would be a great rumor to blow up the internet for a day or two. Would be fun to watch.

Holy Crap! I didn't think of this, I've been working from home for 4 months, Xbox is a stress release (and yard work, but too hot!) I have used for years. I go all the way back to Atari 2600 ...If my controller died again I'd be screwed! I got to get one on order. THANKS! But hey, i put long pants on for the first time in 132 days the other day. and a shirt with a collar. I went into the office to pick up a new Iphone, was there about 8 minutes.

I did see that. The lady that sponsored it, while i'm sure was hounded by some business leaders, is getting pounded with negative public opinion on this. The response from our Governor "you want to sue me for trying to save lives? I'm a former lawyer, bring it on'. People loved this. He has afternoon news briefings everyday that have raised quite a following, I do have to commend the way he is taking TO the people.

Can you believe there are still those that think this is overblown. Yes, we lost a lot with swine flu or H1N1, but did we lose them nearly this fast? It is nice to see how some local leaders have stepped up, our KY gov has done a great job on this so far. But we still have to remind the Louisville mayor he is in charge of the CITY, as we still have large gathering 'parties' in some city parks. Just venting as it feels like I haven't spoken to anyone but my wife in weeks. And I suspect she is plotting a hostile takeover

I'm supposed to be on a flight to Vegas RIGHT NOW for our annual March Madness drink fest...cancelled it last Thursday when everything tilted. Bummed. Now working from home with my dogs starring at me. At least i have that option, much respect for those that can not.
