  1. Would they have cared, if you had beaten UConn?
  2. All the other names being tossed around are either too old or have considerable baggage or both - Pearl, Sampson, Beard, Oates.
  3. Wouldn’t be surprised if it isn't Oates. I know he’s said he’s not interested, but I’m sure he could be convinced now that Hurley and Drew have said no.
  4. Scott Drew turns down Kentucky….who’s next on the list…Nate Oates, Chris Beard, Bruce Pearl? https://www.dallasnews.com/sports/baylor-bears/2024/04/11/scott-drew-staying-at-baylor-over-taking-vacant-kentucky-job-reports-say/?outputType=amp
  5. It will be interesting to see how many of his current players follow him to Arkansas, and how many look elsewhere.
  6. Will Calipari be able to recruit at Arkansas like he did at Kentucky? Not so sure, but we’ll see. His time might be over. NIL and the Portal have changed everything.
  7. You’re really reaching now. Smits was probably the best of that bunch, but he could actually shoot outside of 5 ft.
  8. Projections don’t mean much. TJD was projected late 1st to early second round, and ending up being the next to last pick in the draft to many GMs’ regrets.
  9. I have nothing against him and wish him well. I just don’t see success in the NBA, but I’ve been wrong before…just ask my wife.
  10. The problem is he’s slow, and isn’t an exceptional athlete. Can anyone name a 7’4” player with those traits, that has been a success in the NBA?
  11. Shocked isn’t the word…mid to late 2nd round.
  12. He continues to impress throughout the league with his knowledge of the game, fundamentals, and especially his atheletism.
  13. Highlights of TJD’s latest game. https://www.nbcsportsbayarea.com/nba/golden-state-warriors/trayce-jackson-davis-highlights-jazz/1721816/?amp=1
  14. Could get ugly next year when Edey isn’t around, and all the focus will be on stopping your guards.
  15. Hats off to Edey and a great college career, but I still think he’ll struggle in the NBA. He carried the team all year, and had a great game last night, but the guards were overmatched against UConn. Everyone else but Smith, was a non factor - TKR 4 pts, Jones 5 pts, Loyer - 0 pts, Bench - 2 pts. On to next year, and the banner count still stands - IU 5 / Purdue 0.
  16. Not often, but he hasn’t played against anyone like Clingan before.
  17. That could easily happen to Edey as well…then what?
  18. Ok, maybe we never had them, but we did give them their best game of the tournament.
  19. What happened to Caleb Furst…is he still on the team, injured or just not getting any playing time?
