  1. They’ve had a nice run, but let’s see what they do next year.
  2. Purdue wins this game going away, but loses to UConn by double digits in the championship game.
  3. From the film he looks really good, and doesn’t need to be wide open to knock down his shot. In the past, most of our supposed 3 pt shooters have been reluctant to shoot even when wide open. We need a fearless shooter that will make you pay when he has the opportunity! Hickman seems to fit that mold.
  4. I go back to the beginning of the Knight era, and was fortunate enough to be around to watch those teams, so my benchmark is the 1976 undefeated team. Obviously, that’s a high bar, and isn’t a realistic goal to set, but the overall excellence surrounding the program is what Id like to see again. Winning the B10 championship, being a consistent Top 25 team and a threat to win a national title should be our goal. In other words - a true “blue blood” program again! And with our resources that shouldn’t be that hard.
  5. Here’s a great article. https://theathletic.com/5392665/2024/04/05/warriors-trayce-jackson-davis-draymond-green-combination/
  6. Lets hope so, but either way I’m ok with swapping McNeeley for Tucker.
  7. From what I’ve seen it looks like Tucker is more athletic, with a mid-range game, and McNeeley is more of threat from 3. Pretty much an even swap.
  8. Who ya gonna call “Ghostbusters”
  9. Yeah, but before the rules changed players made a sacrifice too, because they had to sit a year before they could play at a new school unless they got a waiver.
  10. In other words - performance driven like most jobs, but I doubt that’s what they want either.
  11. I can’t argue with athletic guards who can create, and set up others as long as they can shoot - Sears from Alabama is a perfect example.
  12. We’ve got Galloway, Cupps, Newton and Leal returning….the only guards we should be considering are knock down shooters - please!
  13. Still think Omoruyi from Rutgers would be a perfect fit. He can protect the rim and rebound at a high level without needing to score, and might be willing to come off the bench. Of course, for that to work, we’d need two high scoring guards to go along with MM, BT and MR.
  14. Can you hold my spot? I’m not there yet.
  15. Love it! Can you imagine Edey doing that in the League…don’t think so.
  16. Do you do your wondering while you wander? Just kidding 😀
  17. But he didn’t leave because of anything other than he played himself into a 1st rounder, so it would have been foolish not to go.
  18. But the most important are coming back. Ware was always gone, so can’t count him.
  19. I have to admit I was concerned we might have a mass exodus, but obviously, CMW didn’t lose the respect/trust of the players like so many thought. It’s been a good off season so far! 😀
  20. For all the “sky is falling” crowd, MgBako is back. Now, if we don’t go out and lock up a couple of elite shooters to go along with MM, MR and BT, then I’ll be the first to say CMW needs to go.
