  1. For all the “sky is falling” crowd, MgBako is back. Now, if we don’t go out and lock up a couple of elite shooters to go along with MM, MR and BT, then I’ll be the first to say CMW needs to go.
  2. Hate to get too excited, but with the addition of a couple of Elite guards we could be really good next year.
  3. Well, they almost did it, but just came up a little bit short….congrats on another great season!
  4. TJD - 18 pts, 8 reb, 3 blk in today’s win.
  5. FAU/NW - so this is what “modern offense” looks like? They’ll be lucky, if either team gets to 50 pts.
  6. I didn’t say they aren’t talented, just wasted at the college level. If they’re good enough, they’ll get to the NBA regardless of where they play. They don’t have to play for Kentucky to get there.
  7. Unfortunately, the recruits are still buying into it.
  8. Time for Kentucky fans to start a “Fire Coach Calipari “ thread…going out early again. This time to powerhouse #14 seed Oakland University. So much talent going to waste!
  9. What’s stopping us from running a modern offense, if we have the right personnel? You’re assuming CMW won’t adapt, if our roster has the necessary pieces.
  10. You can’t double team him, if we have legit scoring treats from the outside.
  11. Not if we land a couple of elite shooting guards. Omoruyi’s job would be rim protecting and rebounding. Any scoring would be a bonus.
  12. Even though Ware had a slightly higher average, Malik was probably our best option when we really needed a bucket, so why throw it out to a guard who was likely going to miss. If we get a couple of elite guards who are knock down shooters, then I think he’ll be a willing passer when he’s double teamed. And if they’re really good, he won’t be doubled team as often.
  13. Go get Omoruyi, a couple of really good guards, and if McBacko returns we’re in really good shape. 💪
  14. Agree with all that, but he needs to focus on shooting, and become a legitimate 3pt threat. That’s what we need….forget about taking the ball to the hoop.
  15. He should go through the process, but I expect him to be back in college basketball next year, just not at IU. I hope I’m wrong, because that means we have a mass exodus, and a complete rebuild on our hands.
  16. Personally, I’d hate to see Cupps leave. He’ll end up being a very good 4 yr player.
