New RB Coach: Craig Johnson

Hasn’t recruited in nearly 20 years but he is a good coach from what I’ve heard. He should be able to sell development and his time in the NFL to recruits.

Looks like he alternated between being a running backs coach and a quarterbacks coach.   Although for the past 2 years he was a senior analyst at Maryland.  

Has a lot of experience.  Hopefully turns out to be a good hire.

Coached under Tom Coughlin and worked his way up to OC at Maryland for a stint which are both big pluses in my book. The lack of recent recruiting experience is a concern but hopefully he’s up to the task.

He played QB in college. I don’t hate having a guy with a wider range of experiences than just one position

Sounds like a solid hire.  Question is, will his extensive NFL coaching techniques and experience be complimentary to DH's OL?  Let's hope so.

Impressive resume for sure. What he did at Vikings, Titans alone...with both QB's and RB's is really impressive. In a way the game has changed so much you need to know both sides of that coin for your RB's and QB's. Seems like a really strong replacement and the NFL experience doesn't hurt on the recruiting trail.

Quality experience and track record.  Experience with QB’s a plus.  I hope he can recruit well.
