Couple nights ago, Harrison Bader hits a ground ball and joggs to first base, one of the fastest players on the team! Last night, the Yanks managed 2 hits against the Angels. There were 14 at bats where the Angel pitchers threw 3 pitches or less!! Cashman is responsible for constructing this team and Boone is not able to motivate this team. The Yanks need to do what other MLB teams are doing. Go with younger players that are hungry, not the over-paid Primadonna they have now where they end up on the IL if they get a hang nail!! IU Scott Posted July 20, 2023 Report Share Posted July 20, 2023 (edited) Reds up 3-2 in the top of the 7th. All the Reds runs and hits were all in the 3rd inning. Benson hit a 3 run homer in the third and Reds hasn't had a runner on base since. Ashcraft had a shutout though 5 but in the 6th he gave up a run without giving up a hit, HBP, 2 walks and and a double play.
