rico
It appears we have a Michigan St. type story coming out of Huntington: https://www.wane.com/top-stories/lawsuit-huntington-u-cross-country-and-track-program-allowed-doping-rape/
5fouls
If true, the part that would be most mind-boggling to me is the assertation that the university administration knew about the sexual abuse and allowed it to happen. This isn't Michigan State or Penn State where there are potentially tens of millions of dollars at stake. I can't fathom an athletic director or university president at a school like Huntington turning a blind eye to allegations of sexual abuse. Doping, maybe. Sexual abuse? It makes no sense. mrflynn03
It seems telling that it's a civil suit. Civil suits have a much lower burden of proof than criminal. Edited October 6, 2022 by mrflynn03
